Ways to Study

In class
Take clear, short notes. Don't write paragraphs and paragraphs that you are going to forget as soon as you walk out. Use abbreviations and chose the best method for you (will talk more about this in future
chapters)
Active listening (write less, listen more). Ask your teacher questions if you're unsure, they are there to help you!
At home
Read textbook and take notes in the margins or in a separate notebook.
DO HIGHLIGHT EVERYTHING!! This does nothing! Highlight key words that will stick in your head.
Read before each class, so that you go into the class already knowing some of the information. Read your notes from class a couple hours after to refresh your memory. This will help you remember the information.

Before going to your class, review your notes from the last lesson.
Practise, practice, practise! Use past exams or practise test to study!
