Promise

---9year old Ayato---
From childhood ive always played with Kazusa..She's my friend we were always together wherever we go..

Ive just finished playing with Kazusa today..we played some Hide and seek and freeze the squirell..
Since we were vampires we stayed away from humans for their sake and for ours..Our parents told us back then that humans killed vampires almost making our species extinct...The reason for that because our kind "the vampires" was said to be sucking the life out of their fellow humans so the swore vengence and killed the vampires that endangered them...After the almost extinction of our kind the elders made a rule about not getting near a human and befriending it...Many years have passed and vampires were no longer killed by humans but one day...

I was sitting at the floor while my parents sat at the couch when a live news broadcast showed on TV..Our eyes were fixated to the screen because of the suprising news..

The royal bloodline of vampires are going extinct.Some of the humans has started hunting again.If there are no purebloods anymore there wont be newborn vampires. And that said if there are no more newborns then Vampires slowly go extinct. This generation of purebloods will be our only hope to replenish the noble bloodlines.

My eyes shot wide open when the reporter said humans began hunting again and the Purebloods are going extinct.While I was still shocked my parents were already going back and fort from their rooms and even my room.I notice that they already packed our bags..I quickly new that we will be moving..I said to myself that if we were moving I minght never see Kazusa again so U asked permission from my parents to quickly go to Kazusa and say goodbye...They understood me so they let me do what I want..
I used the shortest way to her house when I arrived I saw kazusa playing dolls at their front yard..I called out to her..

"

Kazusa!!"I was still panting when I called out to her so she looked somehow worried
"What's wrong Ayato-kun"
"Me and my family are moving" I gave her a smile to assure her that I was okay (but I think she misunderstood it cause her face looked a bit sad)
'He's moving?! And he is smiling..Is he happy that he wont be seeing me' "Oh...Where will you move?" I wanted her to be a but happy so I continued talking to her and made her a promise
"France but I might never see you again..So lets promise each other even though we are apart we will still be friends and we will meet again when we grow up.."
*smile*"Promise"
I saw her smile before I left I thought to myself that she will be alright while  Im gone..
'Ill keep our promise Kazusa, Trust me' I said to myself when I went back to our house. ..

Ayato left Kazusa's place and Japan keeping his promise..
