Vacation Of A Lifetime (A Nash Grier Fanfic)

Chapter 2

As I pulled into Landon's driveway I noticed that everyone else was already there probably discussing the endless amounts of things we'd be doing over the course of our vacation.

"Hey Kendall" Landon announced

"Hey y'all ready for this" I asked in my southern accent

"Of course" Ava said replying for everyone

"Alright then if y'all are ready to go, bags in the back" I said walking round to the back of my car. Everyone took their bags and put them in the back of my car, the hood was down so it was an easy task to accomplish.

Before we left Landon pulled me over to the side.

"Do Meredith and Zoey really have to go" he pleaded

"Landon enough with the childish banter they're going. You can completely ignore them the entire trip but they're going like it or not"

"Well I definitely don't like it"

"Why do you not like them so much anyways?" I asked as we started to walk to my car

"Because they're basic and fake" he said as he got in the car. And that was the end of the conversation.

Landon was riding shotgun and Tara was in the back of my car, and In Ava's car Zoey rode shotgun and Meredith was in the back. And we were off for the long drive ahead of us.

We were having a great time just talking about our lives and how they've changed to what they are now and then we started playing old Justin Bieber music like 'one less lonely girl' old the classic Justin and that led to a throwback music session with us belting the lyrics as loud as we could not caring what the people on the interstate thought.

About an hour and a half into the drive the excitement had died down a bit since we were all so bored Landon and Tara were both knocked out. I took out my phone and called Ava.

"Hey, do y'all wanna stop at the next rest area" I asked

"Yes please thank god"

"Haha ok see to there, bye"

Ava's POV

We were finally on our way to North Carolina the much awaited trip for all of us. Zoey called shotgun so Meredith was stuck in the back seat.

The drive was supposed to take almost two hours. It started out fun with us reminiscing on the good ol days of middle and high school. But then we started to make fun of the goofiness we saw in front of us portrayed by Kendall, Landon and Tara. They were singing along to some music at the top of their lungs.

Before I knew it Meredith and Zoey were asleep and I was getting a call from Kendall asking if we could stop at the next rest area. I followed behind her the whole way just to be safe and parked beside her in the small parking area. I took the keys out of the ignition and got out stretching my arms and legs from sitting still so long. Kendall was doing the same thing and I noticed Landon and Tara were also asleep. I quickly woke up Mere and Zoe and headed to the restroom.

I did my business and was standing in the mirror examining my long dark brown hair to be sure it looked good. I stood about 5'7. My small frame was dressed in a denim romper and tan sandals. I started to put my hair in a side braid when Mere and Zoe walked in.

"Hey are we almost there yet" Zoey asked

"We still have about half an hour"

"Ugh" Zoey and Meredith groaned in unison

By now it was already 10:30 we had left around 9:00 we wanted to get there early so we could get settled in before it was to late to do anything. After everyone had done their business. We all stood in front of a map of the state. We were already in North Carolina and only a very short distance from where we are going.

"Okay y'all we probably only have like thirty more minutes of driving" Tara said

"Okay but please everyone agree to stay awake" Kendall pleaded

"Alright alright" said the four that had been asleep earlier.

By 10:45 we were on the road again. The long boring road with miles behind us and miles in front of us.

Landon's POV

We were back on the interstate only 30 minutes from the place we'd be spending 2 weeks of the summer.

"Kendall please tell us where were going." You see the thing is Kendall rented the house all on her own with no asking of anyone so it would be a complete surprise to the rest of us.

"Ok fine" she said pulling out her phone as she turned on the road her gps told her to. She handed me her phone that had a picture of a huge house with a large window in the front a huge lake out back with an expansive yard full of trees.

"Wow" Tara and I said as we saw the picture "we're really staying there"

"Yup" was all Kendall could say as a huge grin spread over her beautiful face.

The wait to see the house in person seemed to become longer. When one minute would pass it felt like 10 minutes. So eventually I was back asleep and Tara was soon to follow me.

A/N- Its been a long time coming on this chapter and I'm sorry for that. But I've kinda lost motivation to keep writing this about Carter so instead of not finishing the story I'll be changing the main character. As of now it'll be Nash Grier but if y'all want someone else more than him just tell me in the comments and I'll consider it. But I hope y'all will continue to read the story with out Carter being the main focus although he'll still be in it.
