This is the next book in my Rexter series. I suggest reading the first one if you haven't. Dexter and Raven's Wedding is coming up, and when an Eros threatens their wedding, Raven puts her love to the test, as Dexter is shot with one of Eros's arrow...
The next morning misses Charming Called Raven and Dexter to the throne room. "I called you here because I have something to say to the both of you." Raven took Dexter's hand. "I'm sorry, for being over protective. Dexter your 18 now and you should be able to sleep with who you want. And as of you Raven. You can now sleep in the same room as my son," The queen stood up and hugged her son. "I-I'm sorry. I truly am," She pulled back and place her hand on his shoulder. "Forgive me?" Dexter hugged her and said. "I forgive you." The queen took Raven hand and said: "If you want, I can take you to look for a wedding dress." Raven looked at her "Let me see if can Maddie can come, if she can yes I'll go, but I really want Maddie to be there so if she can't, maybe another day. If that is OK?" The Queen said: "That will fine. Just tell me what she say's OK?" "OK." The queen began to walk away. Dexter took Raven hand "Let move your stuff into my room." Raven and Dexter walked to Raven's room.
While they moved thing from room to room, a bet was being placed high in the sky. "I bet he'll fight it," Apollo said. Apollo was the god of music, and then health, and now his job was to move the sun across the sky. "I doubt it. I never found anyone who could fight my love arrows yet." Eros the god of love said. Eros loved placing bets with Apollo. Apollo once said his Love arrows won't work on a god, and Eros took the bet. You could only imagine what happened when the arrow really did work on the almighty Zeus. "You're on!" Apollo said. "Alright! I shoot when the time is right."
While Dexter was putting away Ravens clothing for her Raven got a text message back from Maddie
Maddie: That sound great. What time should I meet you?
Raven: How about 1:00 pm at Fairy godmother's Wedding shop?
Maddie: Sounds hat-tastic!!! See you there.
"Dexter I'm off to find your mom. Maddie said she meet us around 1 to go wedding dress shopping." She kissed his cheek "Love you." Raven said as she walked off to find misses Charming. Dexter grabbed her hand and pulled her closer toward him and kissed her. "I love you too" Raven kissed him and pulled back and started to walk again "I know." Dexter smiled and resumed putting away clothes.
Around 1 Maddie, misses Charming, and Raven walked into the Fairy godmother wedding shop, and after about three hours of looking for the right dress, Raven walked out in a stunning purple dress. "That looks....Hat-tastic!!!" Raven blushed and look at Misses Charming. She stood up and walked around Raven and when she was done examining the dress She said: "This looks just right on you." Raven did a little twirl and stopped in front of a mirror. "You look like a princess." a voice said Raven looked around and then looked back at the mirror. "Mom?" Raven took a step back as a figure stood in the mirror. "Don't worry, I won't ruin your big day.... as long as you put a mirror in the front row." Raven smiled "You really think I look good?" Raven said. "Yes, you definitely look the fairest of them all." Raven blushed. Raven didn't forget about what she tried to do to Dexter, but it felt good having her mother say she looked the fairest one of them all, and that's a lot for the Evil Queen to say infront of people. "I think I found my dress," Raven said in a happy tone. Everyone cheered, and Raven felt her wedding was on the track of just right. Little did she know her wedding was about to go way off track. And it all started with a little bet.
