Chapter Nine:- She's back

Author's POV:
Weeks passed since then and the two have been hanging out with each other as much as they could. Even sometimes inviting Sehun, Hana and the boys along when Chanyeol felt like it. So far, Chanyeol had been faithful and kept his side of the deal up making Chorong very happy. She felt reassured that she did the right thing in trusting him.
Everyone in their school didn't bother to come in between the two since everyone knew Chanyeol was a total playboy and thought he'd eventually dump Chorong even though she's exceeded his record of dating someone.

The two were currently sitting on the bus, making their way to the hospital where Chorong's mum was. It was actually Chanyeol's idea to visit her together.
"So what's your mum like?" Chanyeol decided to make small talk as bus took off.
"Um.. she's quite sassy and don't be surprised if she interrogates you." Chorong patted Chanyeol comfortingly as she saw his scared expression.
"Um..great." Chorong laughed out loud at Chanyeol's lack of response.

—————At the Hospital————-

Walking through the Lobby, Chorong greeted the nurses as she made her way through the building, Chanyeol walking by her side. The two walked down the hallway, talking as they went.
Laughing at what Chorong had said, he failed to notice the familiar face heading his way.
"Chanyeol?" Chanyeol took his gaze off Chorong and turned in the direction of the familiar voice.
"Fei?" Chanyeol stops shocked as Fei laughed and headed in for a hug.
Fei was Chanyeol's childhood love. They had known each other since the age of 9 when she moved into the house across the street. The two became close quick as they were of similar age and by the time they entered high school, the two had gotten together. It wasn't until the summer they'd turn 17 when Fei decided she'd leave and study abroad. The two broke up despite Chanyeol's desire for a long distant relationship.

"How have you been?" Fei took a side glance at Chorong as she let go of Chanyeol.
"You've finally given up on waiting." Fei smiled lightly as she faced Chorong.
"Who's this?" Chanyeol took his eyes of Fei as he looked back at Chorong. Seeing Chanyeol physically stiffen made Chorong feel awkward as she smiled back at Fei.
"Um a friend."
*pang* Chorong's smiles faltered as she heard Chanyeol. Glancing at him, she masked the pain she felt as she greeted Fei.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Chorong." Fei smiled as shook Chorong's hand.
"I'm Fei, Chanyeol's childhood friend."
"Hey Chanyeol, let's catch up some other time. I'll see you guys around." Smiling once more, Fei left the two alone. Chanyeol stood still watching Fei's back as she walked off. Shaking Chanyeol lightly, the two continue walking down the hall.

Arriving at the room, Chorong knocked on the door as she poked her head in.
"Hey mum!" She smiled as she walked over to her mother reading in bed. The two hugged as Chanyeol stood in the corner alone. "Mum this is my friend Chanyeol, I'm currently working for his mum." Chanyeol smiled awkwardly as he greeted her.
"So this is the gentleman you've been telling me about." Chorong's mother chuckled as she noticed both Chanyeol and Chorong's awkward face. "I'm just teasing you guys. What? Can't I have a little fun? Geez." Chorong rolled her eyes at her mother.

As the hours passed, Chanyeol warmed up to Chorong's mother, comfortable enough to make jokes here and there. Eventually the two left the hospital, waiting outside for the Taxi to arrive.
The atmosphere grew awkward now that the two were alone.
"So are you going to see Fei?" Chorong kicked the curb lightly as she asked the question. Taken back about the sudden question, Chanyeol studdered as he tried to come up with an the answer.
"Umm... I don't know..maybe."
"Is she...special to you?"
Chanyeol stood silent as he thought about what to say next.
"Yes. Very special..."
Chorong nodded at Chanyeol's answer, not sure what to say next. The two got into the Taxi and rode home in silent.

————Maid's House————-

Chanyeol thought about Chorong's question as they walked up to the maid house door. Was he really willing to see Fei again?
I mean, we ended things but it's not like it was on bad terms. I don't think there's anything wrong...right? What if I'm not over her yet? Does she still love me? What about Chorong? Aish... I definitely still love Fei..she's always going to be a part of my life but.. Chorong... She makes my head spin, and my heart beat. She makes me stressed and angry but she also makes me laugh and giggle like an elementary school girl... Chorong...definitely has all of me...

Chanyeol let out a loud sigh, before catching up with Chorong who had walked ahead. Arriving at the door, Chanyeol faces Chorong. He gave her a light smile and planted a kiss on her forehead. "Mmmm...I know...you feel anxious about Fei but please don't. I will keep my side of the deal. I made that deal for a reason and I plan on carrying it out, otherwise I wouldn't be a proper businessman now will I?" Chorong laughed at Chanyeol's witty joke.
"Go out with me. Tomorrow, 6pm. I'll be waiting in front of the house. Don't be late." Giving Chorong one last hug, he left before she could answer.

That's right. I'll make it better, I'll make it official.
