"Come on Mum!"
"What's the surprise?" I begged,
"Not telling you yet!" She smiled and I pouted at her,
"Well when are you going to tell me?" I rolled my eyes,
"When we get home," mum said, not taking her eyes off the road.

"We're home!" I shouted up to my dad,
"Now can you tell me the surprise?" I huffed,
"Alright sassy!" My dad winked at me.

We all sat down and mum explained. "You remember that friend I told you about and how she went to uni with me?" She said and I nodded, "She lives in Canada with her husband and two kids Shawn and Aaliyah," she said and I nodded, "And...she has invited us to spend a week with them in the Christmas holidays!" Mum said excitedly, "Canada?" I exclaimed, Canada was a place I'd always wanted to visit since a small child, "It's going to be awesome!" I jumped up, "How old are the kids?" I asked sitting back down, I hoped they weren't five year olds, "Aaliyah is ten, Shawn is fifteen like you," Mum smiled, "Wait a minute," a Canadian boy called Shawn who was fifteen, no it couldn't be, "What?" Mum frowned, "What's his surname?" I asked, "Well he's Shawn Mendes but wh-" she started before I interrupted, "NO WAY!" I shouted, "What?" Dad said, looking slightly confused at why I was so excited at this, "Shawn Mendes is a viner that tours with Magcon!" I grinned, I'd always wanted to tour with magcon, I had thousands of followers and likes but I lived in England and they toured in the US and Canada so I couldn't really do it, "Right..." Dad rolled his eyes at Mum, "So are you going to get Shawn to put you on magcon?" Mum asked, "He can't exactly decide that but I'm definitely going to see one of these Magcon events!" I smiled thinking about the crowd and the magcon boys, "When do we leave?" I asked eagerly, "A week today, remember to pack!" My dad laughed, "Yeah yeah, whatever!" I rolled my eyes at him.
