THREE

After all of the events that had happened on the journey so far Audrey decided she deserved a nap so she got herself comfortable on one of the sofas and closed her eyes. She wasn't sure how long she was asleep for but she was awoken as the RV suddenly stopped and she almost fell off of the sofa. Rubbing her eyes in irritation she got up and walked to the front of the Vehicle. "What on earth is going on?" She muttered with a yawn. When she looked outside she saw an attractive man in a suit drinking a bottle of beer. Despite the fact that he was very attractive she figured he was probably some deadbeat alcoholic although his suit made him look a lot less like the deadbeat she figured he probably was.

The man outside just stared up into the RV and he stared at her and her siblings before he simply walked away. Audrey looked at her family in confusion and their father who was asleep in the back woke up. Kate began driving again and Audrey realised that they had arrived at a motel whilst she was asleep. 

Kate began driving the RV again now that the hot stranger had moved out of the way and she found somewhere to park. Once she had turned the engine off the family exited the vehicle and began to grab their bags and began their walk to the hotel room. Audrey's messy bun, though still messy, was practically non-existent and she pulled her hair tie out of her hair so that she didn't look like an idiot with a weird hairstyle. The temperature outside had gotten considerably hotter and Audrey was beginning to sweat. When they were parking the RV up she saw that there was a pool outside and she was eager to use it.

Scott was complaining about the long walk to the hotel room. "I don't even know why you're driving. Dad half drunk could drive better than you can." 

Before anyone could think Jacob grabbed Scott by the front of his shirt and pushed him back quite aggressively. "Dad!" Kate yelled at him. 

"What makes you think you can talk like that?" Their father asked Scott who looked scared. "I was just kidding." Scott stuttered out. "Were still a clean family, show some respect." Jacob told him. "Dad. Stop." Kate told him as she looked concerned. 

Jacob looked at her for a moment or two before he finally released his son. Scott walked over to Audrey who at this point was fuming with what their dad had done. She had been pretty understanding with all the stunts he had pulled throughout this entire trip, especially at the fact that he had left his congregation and more or less packed up their family home.

Audrey scoffed. "A clean family my ass." She said with a roll of her eyes. 

"Don't cuss in front of your brother and sister." Jacob scolded his daughter with a glare. "And we are a clean family so don't you dare disrespect that."

"Why?" Audrey challenged. "Are you going to push me up against a wall like you did with Scott?" 

Jacob didn't answer her and she looked at her father with anger. "I didn't think so." She told him before she headed towards their room, Scott and Kate following after her as their father trailed slowly behind them all. When they finally got into the motel room everyone began putting down their bags. Scott looked at his sisters. "Mind if i take the bed?" 

Audrey smiled at him softly. "Go ahead." 

"Not at all. I'm going to the pool." Kate told him. "I'll come with you." Audrey added in and Kate nodded. The two headed to the bathroom with their bags. They began to get changed although they were facing the opposite way so neither of them saw the other as they got dressed.

As they were getting ready there was a knock at the door. "Katie-cakes? Audrey? Open the door." He called. When neither of them answered he demanded. "Now." 

Kate spared a quick glance at her sister before she sighed and opened the door, using her t-shirt to cover up her chest a bit since she was only in a bra. Their father raised his head down respectfully and took off his hat as he pushed his hair back.
