Melisa's POV:

Ok, well those two are pretty cute. They had the same color hair. Wow. That was probably one of the stupidest things I have ever said/thought. Of course they have the same color hair, they're twins!!! Wait. One of them is coming over. "Hey!" Mae's head snaps up from her bag. "Do you have any song suggestions?" The twin asks. "U- uh- c-coul-" Mae stutters.
"Would you mind playing riptide?" I cut Mae off. "Yeah! Sure!" He says and takes one more glance at Mae in a cute kind of confused way, UGH! You just met him Melisa! Stop thinking that! Twin number 1 then walks away towards his brother. He says something to the other twin and then number one picks up his guitar and starts to strum and his brother starts to sing:
"I was scared of dentists and the dark. I was scared of pretty girls and starting conversations..."
Mae and I continue to walk our bikes towards the boys. I look at my friend and I realize that I have never seen anyone so starstruck.

Mae's POV:

I have never been more starstruck. In my entire life.

Melisa's POV:

Wow. This means a lot to her. I listen to the music some more and look at who's playing it. They are in perfect harmony, like they had practiced it for many years. I spot a hat once we are in front of them.

Twins:
I got a lump in my throats cause your gonna sing the words wrong.

They finish up their song, we park our bikes, and I start to head up to give a five dollar bill that I found in my pocket, and see Mae start to do the same. "Hey! Thanks! I haven't seen you around before," the guitar player says. "U- yea-" Mae stutters. Again. Why is she so nervous? "Yeah. She's visiting my family this summer. Why?" I ask. "No reason. Hope we see you around soon!"
The one who only sings says. "Oh! We didn't catch your names!" The guitar player says. "I'm Melisa and this is Mae." I say gesturing to myself and then Mae. "Ok, he's Harvey," says the guitar player, "and he's Max." Says Harvey. "One more question." I say. "Go for it." Max says. "Actually two, how do we tell you apart and can I have your number so we can meet up some time?" I ask. Mae looks at me horrified. "First, Max wears a hat outside of school, and I don't, and second sure. Here you go." He rips off a piece of paper from his note book, and writes two numbers down, and both of the twins names next to their number. "Thanks!" I say. "Call us anytime!" Harvey says. "I will!!!" I say as Mae and I get on our bikes. "Bye!" They call to us. "BYE!!" I yell as we turn the corner. I turn to look at Mae, who is just staring at me with a blank expression. "What the heck was that." She says, and asks at the same time.
