It was three am, and Glitch was awoken by screams coming from Pixel's bedroom. Glitch grabbed one of his guns and sprinted to his brother.
"Pixel?! Are you alright?!" He yelled. When he turned on the lights, he saw nothing but Pixel and Jinx hiding under the bed. "Why'd you scream?" Glitch asked.
"T-there was a demon!", Pixel cried. "It was blue, and about the size of Jinx!".
Glitch looked around the room, gripping onto his gun tightly. "Where'd you last see it?", Glitch asked sternly.
"It ran into the closet...", Pixel replied. "Be careful please".
Glitch began to worry, but he wouldn't let his brother see it. If Pixel, the kid who defeated C on his own, was afraid of a small demon, it must be powerful. He slowly reached for the closet door, trying not to make a sound. He pulled the door open quickly and pointed his gun at the back of the closet, but he saw nothing there but a few shirts on the floor.
"Are you sure you saw something?", Glitch asked. "There's nothing there. Are you sure it wasn't just a nightmare?".
"I... I'm not sure..." he whispered.
Glitch looked at Pixel. He could see the fear in his eyes. Then he looks back at the closet. If there was a demon, it couldn't have escaped.
"Well", Glitch began to speak. "I need to go back to sleep. I start my new job tomorrow, remember?".
"Yeah..." Pixel said softly. "Goodnight Glitch".
Glitch smiled at his brother. "Goodnight".
