Marcelline wasn't exactly what you would expect for a sixteen year old girl. Of course she went to school, and was very good at the academic aspect might I add, but she wasn't exactly Ms.Popular either. Her Best, and only friend Heather since the age of 5 was one of the reason she could make it through the hell people call high school. She might even consider her family.
Marcelline's real family only consisted of her mother Linda, and her sibling James who was a year older than herself. The three of them had a bond so strong, that if it were a glue, it could hold up the empire state building. Her and her brother especially. Her father had died at the young age of thirty six, when she was only eleven years old. That took a large toll on her and her family.
As I had said before, she wasn't ordinary. She was the type of girl that was more interested in a nice fantasy book than boys. And one night something happened that flipped her life upside down, just to make her situation even worse.
