The fact that they were so quickly welcomed to this planet...it left Yellow in shock. She could only look up at the fusion and clutch Blue's gem in her hands.

"But why-"

"No. No more questions." Garnet gave her a small half-smile and folded her arms. "Don't ever question this. What's between you two, that's the answer."

At this Pearl, glanced over her shoulder, her eyebrows raised in surprise before being dragged off by Steven to go get Peridot, Amethyst running behind and cheering.

Before Yellow could open her mouth, Blue's gem started to glow, and a form started to emerge from it. As it grew its limbs and features, Yellow still held it, resulting in her carrying Blue in a bridal fashion when she fully reformed.

"What happened?! Are we...wh..." She looked up at Yellow, blushing furiously as the gem smiled back down at her.

"We made it, didn't I say we would?"

"The ship is in pieces!!"

"But we aren't, and I managed to persuade them to let us stay. This is why you should let me handle things."

"Sure." Garnet adjusted her shades a bit and spoke up, making Blue quickly turn her head and nearly fall from Yellow's arms, luckily she held her closer and leaned back a bit.

"WH-WH-WHO'S THAT?!"

"One of the infamous rebels."

"We're staying with them!?"

"We...are rebels ourselves now, aren't we?"

Blue couldn't argue with that...why did Yellow always have the answers? Looking down, she realized she was still being carried and looked up to her.

"Could you-"

"Put you down? No."

"Why?!"

"I don't see why I should!"

"Because I asked you more than politely!"

"Mhm." She chuckled, realized Garnet was still standing there. (How could she forget, was she getting that lazy with her observations??), and gently set Blue back onto her feet and cleared her throat.

"We're making a shelter from the remains of the ship. What do you think?"

"The parts are sturdy enough to last for a while. And by then, we'll have a more permanent solution." Garnet explained and picked up a large sheet of homeworld metal. "That's why we're bringing Peridot. It will be easier to assemble."

This was all a bit overwhelming. So many gems...all living here! And they were happy! Blue pulled at her tie and looked desperately over to Yellow, who took her hand with surprising delicacy and nodded reassuringly.

Some time had passed before the others came back with Peridot. They tried to get Lapis to come, but even at Steven's begging, she refused, not wanting to meet new gems, not trusting them for a second.

Garnet and the Zircons were sitting in front of the wreckage, with Garnet explaining the Earth to them. Blue feverishly took notes, while Yellow glanced over to her every so often, wishing, just a bit, that they were alone again.

"Hold on, you were serious?!" Peridot exclaimed as they turned the corner. she stared at the two of them before giggling and hopping from foot to foot. "Now I get to show off my poweeeers~! Alright, clods! Let's get busy!"

"...Might want to check your phrasing there P-Dot."

"Oh, okay. Um. Let's go down on this ship and...build it up!"

"Yeah sure. Keep working on that."
