Genuine Friendship

"Hey let's be friends." A girl approached my desk as I sat to my seat. She was looking at me the whole time.

That doesn't seem to be a question.
She's weird.

I smiled and nod to her statement.
She act so cool. She has an angst.

I formally introduced myself to her, "Hi, my name is Wheein."
"I know." She quickly replied

"You introduced yourself awhile ago right?" She continued. Yeah I felt quite embarrassed now. She look like she's bored but the thing is she just don't react much. That is what I've observed.

"What's your name?" I asked trying to break a thick layer of Ice.

"Ahn Hye Jin" she replied.

"Nice to meet you!" I answered.
She just showed me a small smile and went back on what she is doing.

Since then I started calling her Hwasa. I called her fatal to tease her.

Days went by Hwasa and I became very close after finding out our similarities. We have so much in common even in singing. We really loved singing. I found out that she likes to sing when we tried to loiter around after dismissal. She just sang and her voice, it was smooth and soft and can be raspy at times. She is an extreme fan of Beyonce and Rihanna.

We do share a lot of things now our stories, food, talent and beliefs. I even spent almost my everyday with her. There are times that I stayed to their house.

We also made a crew name together, '2 young girls' we perform in our school when there are events.

She was totally different from how I met her. She is funny with a great sense of humor. She can always find an answer to my statement, there are times that my question can be answered only by her savageness.

First Impression is somewhat inapplicable to her.

After a few years.

Hwasa and I is staying strong, we overcome a lot of hard things in life. Now that we are graduating we actually plan to audition on companies together.

Her parents didn't allow her to do so but still I was there trying to comfort her. She loves her father so much that she can't any word from him.

Now that her father doesn't agree on her with auditions, she was so sad and desperate. I was used to these kinds of thing since we've been together for so long already. There are time when I cried my eyes out on her.

Her problem lasted for a week, she can't take she was too desperate to achieve her dreams. For the first time she didn't acknowledge her father's advice.

We moved to Seoul for the auditions at first she stayed on my aunts house with me.

We went to audition on a lot of agencies. There are even some that we got eliminated together, there are some where one of us eliminated early. It was the hardest thing for us.

I got accepted to a company, while she got accepted to another company. Hwasa decided to move near her company as for her training. I didn't stopped her since I was also busy with my training we talk often about our experiences. We make sure that we can spend out time together when we our free.

Eventually her parent accepted her dreams and supported her.

And the downfall came, I was part of a group and we are set to debut soon but then after a week we got disbanded for an unknown reason. I got also kicked out of the company. That affected me so much. I was so close and that happened.

I tried to applied to a new company, it was Hwasa's company RBW, she was called as the Legendary trainee. At first I laughed at it. Hwasa was so happy to see me that she jumped around and hugged me.

I hugged her back, since then we decided to spend the whole time together except on some trainings. We were so happy that we enjoy every moment of our training.

I saw how she trained and indeed she is legendary. She was so different before, we always have a problem on rough dance steps before but now she can do awesome freestyle by herself. That's my best friend.

We trained for a few more year and finally we are able to debut soon. We have two new comrades, Solar our older unnie and Moonbyul our rapper unnie. Moonbyul unnie was my leader on my "supposed to debut" group. When she came here we got really close I really helped her to adjust.

The 4 of us really gotten close, the 3 of them live on the same dorm paid by our company, while I continued staying on my aunt's house.

We trained hard until the day came. We are set to debut. Our CEO gave us a group name, MAMAMOO. I thought that the name was to lame, but we don't have a choice.

After a few more years!!!!!

Right now we are still achieving our dreams. We won awards but still we will strive for the best.

From time to time Hwasa and I spend our time together, I come over to her house and stayed there almost everyday, there are time that she go to my house... not for me but for my cat. 😑

We still have a very very strong friendship together.

There are time that she asked me serious questions like, what if we are not together anymore? What if I suddenly die?

These questions make my heart ache so much, I answered her that I don't know how to live without her. That is the truth. I spent most of my life with her now and I wanted to continue doing so. I don't want her to disappear, Even how famous we get I want to see and spend my time with her.

If I could spend my life with her, I would! I hope we'll be together forever.

I will support her no matter what happened.
She is my only best friend and I am ready to protect and support her and I know she is also.
