I remember the night
we laid our back,
Soft and fine sand
tingling in our skin
We walked by the shore,
waves back and forth
Erasing the footprints
Embracing our feet
The weather's good,
the pleasant temperature,
The chittering of the birds and occasional crashing of the waves
were music to our ears
The touch of cold breeze,
wetness, damp, and calm air,
Tiny lights spark afar, signaled the setting of the sun in the horizon
As we watched and found each other's hand
I feel your breathing
and your body pressing against mine
filling the gaps of every inch,
feeling every bit of you, as if we were made to fit,
the one's missing in the puzzle.
