A Nightmare

Marcos POV

In the middle of an empty room I see Star. She's just standing there, as I get closer I realize she's crying.  I try to walk up to her but it just seems that shes getting further and further away from me each little step I take. I turn around to try to figure out why this is happening and I see Jackie standing there, she's in a wedding dress, similar to the one she wore to the dance but white. She says 'I do' and looks at me with anticipating eyes. Like shes waiting for me to do something. Suddenly I realize why she said 'I do'...we're getting married. Wait, I dont want to get married to her, I want Star. I turn back around and shes gone. I look right and all I see is an arch, I look left and there in the middle of the area is Star tied to a chair balling under her hair. I try to run to her but I cant, its like I'm glued to the floor. I...cant....move....Finally, I break free and run to her, the ropes I can't untie and-jackie pulls me up by the ear and is trying to force me to say it. 'I wont...I dont!' I say. Jackie gets angry and kisses me just as Star looks up and upon seeing it, she plops her head back down, pushing herself behind her hair again.....................black....................Now I see Oscar in a tuxedo. There in front of him is the girl I was just trying to save.  In a beautiful wedding gown, suited for her, like they were made for each other. Out of nowhere comes a voice asking if anyone objects the wedding, and I try to say 'I' but I can't. Im stuck in my place. Oscar says 'I do' then Star says 'I do' and they kiss. Right there in front of me. They are married and I'm out of the picture. How did this-
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!" I wake up in cold sweat, my sheets and clothes are drenched from all the nervous sweating I was doing. I quickly rush off to the bathroom to have a shower while hopefully the maid comes along and takes care of my sheets. I think back to the dre--no, nightmare I was having. How Oscar and Star got married and Jackie and I got married...I think it meant we are meant to be because we were both in vain watching the other get married to someone else. Or maybe its just me... All my thinking made for a really long shower. I get out and get into clothes. Put on deodorant and everything else and walk out.  I walk back into my room, I see Star standing at my window deep in thought. I come up behind her and hug her as tight as possible.
"I'm never going to let you go, EVER"
"I love you too Marco, but the hospital just called. They said they had news on my parents but the didn't say what. I want to get there as fast as possible."
"I understand, lets go now" As we hurried out to catch a very quick but silent ride to the hospital, I think of almost every different thing they could have said except what they actually did...
"They wont be able to handle any stress for the rest of their lives" The doctor says sounding worried
"Ok...why is that of worry?"
"Because it means they can't ever leave the house or run the kingdom ever again. They have to stay in calm and quiet environments or this will happen again."
"Oh...so that means we need the heir, right?"
"Yes, which is-"
"I know it's me, who else?"
"You're cousin?"
"What? What cousin? I didn't think we had any other liable family"
"Oh yes, your fathers-"
"NO!" Spouts River "I dont want that miscreant running my well built kingdom, he will never be as reliable as Star is." He turns slightly, just enough to know he's talking to Star directly "You are to never ask about that cousin or ever go see him, do you understand me?"
"Yes Dad. My only thing is...why didn't you tell me about him?"
"Cause I didn't want you to be like him. He's a horrible and undisciplined child. I'm glad I stayed away from my brother while raising you"
"Ok, dad, I trust you" with that, Star helped Moon, and I helped River. As we wobbled out the door, my mind wandered to the blonde I had fallen in love with...Star.......What a beautiful name...
