The Truth (Pt. 1)

It had been a month since Cameron and Aaron had began dating in 'secret'

On this early Sunday morning Cameron decided to wake up and surprise Aaron with breakfast in bed and a special ring.

6:35 AM
Cameron groaned as he rubbed his eyes and sat up. He looked over at Aaron and whispered to himself, "Happy Anniversary, Babyboy." He then proceeded to silently get out of bed and go downstairs to the kitchen to prepare breakfast. This morning he was cooking waffles, eggs, and bacon.

As Cameron was cooking an idea came to his head. When a waffle was almost done cooking he placed the special ring inside and finished cooking it. "He'll love this."

7:27 AM
Aaron was peacefully sleeping when the scent of breakfast entered his nostrils. "Mmm.", he said to himself, licking his lips. When he opened his eyes a shirtless Cameron was standing in the door way with a tray do food and glass of OJ.

"Happy Anniversary, baby.", Cameron said biting his lip as he walked over to Aaron and kissed him passionately.

"Happy Anniversary, babe. I love you so very much.", Aaron whispered once the kiss finished, their noses touching. "I hope this food is for me."

"Of course it is you dork!", Cam replied, ruffling the younger boy's hair and placing the tray in his lap. He then sat down next to him on the bed and began to feed Aaron.

"Damn you cook as good as you fuck.", Aaron mumbled as he chewed, smirking slightly.

7:32 AM

Aaron took another bite of a waffle when all the sudd-

"Ow! What the!", he yelled placing a hand over his mouth. "I just fucking chipped my tooth!"

Cameron gasped and held his boyfriend's face, examining his mouth. "I'm so sorry baby.", he said frowning and picking the ring off the plate. "I was trying to surprise you for our anniversary...."

"Oh my god, Cam..... I don't kn-know if I'm ready for marriage."

"No no no, Aarbear.", he chuckled. "It's a promise ring."

Aaron blushed and leaned over, kissing him.

"We should probably take you to the orthodontist. I'll call them on the way there."

Both of the boys quickly got dressed and went to the car.

"Aaron, call the number on the website while I drive.", he said as he turned on the car and began to drive toward the place.

7:40 AM

Aaron smiled and first took a Snapchat on Cam's account, "What's up yall? So I just chipped my tooth! Gosh dang it!"

Both of them chuckled for a few seconds before focusing back on the task at hand. Aaron called the number and a spot was opened up for them when they arrived.

8:01 AM

Gina (Cameron's mom) was on Snapchat and decided to view Cam's story. "Oh my gosh!", she said gasping at the vid of Aaron's tooth. She quickly went to the Messages app and texted Cameron.

Gina: Hey baby, is Aaron alright?

Cam: Yes mom, he chipped his tooth! We're headed to the orthodontist downtown if you wanna join us.

Gina: Okay i'll be on my way in a few! ❤️

8:20

Aaron was in a room getting his tooth fixed when Gina arrived at the location. She walked inside and saw Cam in the waiting room.

"Hey, hon'."

"Hi, mom!", he said hugging her tight.

"So he's getting fixed up?", she asked looking in his eyes.

"Yeah! He'll be okay. Thanks for coming to keep me company."

"I'm here for Aaron, babe. He's like family. So...how did this exactly happen?", she asked with curiosity.

"It's a funny story...", Cam replied, scratching the back of his head

Cam had never came out to anyone. What if this caused a riff between him and his mom? He doubted it, but you never know.

"Cam?"

"Huh? What? Oh, um..."

With perfect timing, Aaron came walking up.

"Aaron. You're alright?," Gina asked, holding Aaron's cheeks and squishing them.

"Yes.", he replied with a chuckle before hugging her.

"I was just asking Cam how this happened. I suppose you would know it better, being the one who actually got injured", she laughed.

Aaron wasn't sure if Cam was ready to reveal their relationship but he felt as if someone had to do it.

"Well, it was Cam and I's ann-"

Cameron quickly cut him off. "We were wrestling around and I accidentally hit him in the mouth.", he said trying to cover up.

"Silly boys. You guys are getting too old for that stuff. I'm just glad Aaron will be okay now."

The boys both nodded and smiled.

"How about we go get lunch?", Gina offered.

"I'd love too!", Aaron answered.

"Let's go!", Cameron said, happy that the cover up worked.

As Gina walked toward her car Aaron grabbed Cameron's arm. "We're talking about this later.", he said in a low tone before following her.
