"Hey"

Who would have thought that such a simple word would mean so much. Well, it's not really the word that means a lot, rather, the person saying it. In this case, it wasn't really a good person.

"How's life been treating you?"

Their goes that god damned smile. The one that looks so awkward that it makes you want to crack a small one back. For me though, I don't think I could even muster a hint of a smile.

"What are you doing here?"

'Get the hell out of here! Do you really think I want to see you after what you've done!?' Is what I wanted to say but I was in an alright mood today so I just let him past this once.

"Well, I just wanted to, you know, apolgize?"

'Well you wouldn't need to if you hadn't done what you did.' Once again what I wanted to say. Hell, with that tone he was using might as well say what I want.

"Well better get to it 'cause if you didn't know I have things to do."

I guess you could call watching YouTube videos and eating whatever I could find in the fridge as 'things to do'.

"I didn't mean too. You know me, I get excited when i'm playing against people I know can beat me."

"Yeah, 'cause apparently 'getting excited' is smacking your girlfriends controller out of her hands"

What an ass. I was neck and neck with him playing 'Mario Kart 8' when he suddenly stopped and my controller ended up on the floor. Before I could grab it to try and catch up, he had already won.

"Look, if it makes you feel better, I felt guilty about it afterwards. Now come on, lets go eat out. My treat.

If that didn't make me forgive him then I don't know what will.
