Prologue

Bailey's P.O.V

"Look all I'm saying is you need a day off, you've been studying so hard. Give yourself a break" Lea rolled her eyes at me.

"Well dozing off isn't going to get me in a nice college now is it?" I sarcastically said to her. Meet my best friend Azalea, But I call her lea. She's super nice but can get really mean if you tempt her. She always looks on the bright side which could be quite annoying at times, and she has this humongous crush  on Anthony Daniels which she tries so hard to hide but always fails miserably; I'm surprised he doesn't know.

"Yea but pu.." she spanked my hand in shock

"Ouch!" I flung her hand away

"Look at Anthony. He's just too gorgeous" she said with her hand on her chin gawking at him. I look over at Anthony to see him already seated with his friends. I shake my head and ate another French fry.

"You talk about me studying so hard ,but whenever Anthony's in your sight you forget everything you're suppose to be doing" I rolled my eyes

"Do you think I'll ever have a chance with him?" she questioned

"I don't wanna hurt your feelings babe, but he's never even once noticed you" I shrugged and she pouted

"There there babe" I patted her head.

"Where are we going?" I questioned Lea. After school ended she dragged in her car without saying where we're going. We've been driving for the past 20 minutes.

"To the beach"

"Why?"

"What do you go to the beach to do?!"

"I don't know. Play?"

"Yes we're going to the beach to play, in the night" she rolled her eyes

"Exactly! Who goes to the beach in the night? But you expect me to know what we're doing, Kids..."

"Speaking about playing, we need to practice for soccer"

"Oh come on we're pro's we don't need practice" Lea flipped me off

"Really? Remember on Wednesday when you were the goalie but ran from the ball coming into the net?"

"Can you blame me? She was aiming for my face!"

"Or Monday when you kicked the ball and hit coach in the face"

"In my defense she was being annoying" we chuckled

"Oh please, you didn't even know where the ball was going. We suck and we need to practice. How 'bout tomorrow?" She groaned and nodded just as she pulled up to this nicely lit cabin house

"Who's house is this?"

"That's the funny part, I don't know" she chuckled and grabbed my wrist. "I stumbled across this 'bout a week ago with my dad. It was night and all the lights were on. It looked extremely pretty, so I thought I would bring you to see, however it's quite difficult to enjoy the scenery when not all of the lights are on" she frowned

"It's okay" I giggled. "I still find this beautiful"

"Great" She grinned showing all her pearly whites. "Come on, this way" she jogged through a whole in the fence far at the back

"Lea what the hell? This is trespassing!" I whisper shout

"It's not if nobody knows" she giggled

"Hey wait here, I forgot my phone" she jogged back out of the fence.This is a really beautiful home by the seaside, probably cost big dollars though. I notice something sparkling in the water which is quite peculiar seeming to how dark it is by the water. I walk closer to it to see that it's a silver necklace with a beautiful conch shell charm. I kneel down and pick it up just to stare at it. It sparkles for a moment until Lea whisper-shouts my name and I quickly stuff the necklace in my pocket.
