10 Years Later

Kiani watched as the metal head walked up to her, its long staff was held proudly in it's hand. She breathed deeply as it began to shock her, the dark eco was being absorbed into the staff. Every time this happened, she remembered the day she was left for dead. Jak and everyone were either dead or gone. Sandover was nothing but a ghost town. She screeched in pain as the dark eco left her body. She had been the one to betray the world. To side with the metal heads at first chance. In return they had saved her life by absorbing the eco. The metal head walked away, it's glowing staff enhanced with the darkness that once plagued her. "Kiani, my tempered steel. I need someone. He has traveled into the future. I need you to go after him, after you find him. Bring him to the metal head nest. You'll know him when you see him. After all, he left you for dead ten years ago." The metal head leader said, he walked into the room. He laughed, yet you couldn't see his face. As it was covered in the shadows around the room. "I'll bring him to his knees!" Kiani hissed, jumping up with a flare in her eyes. The metal head leader nodded and led her to a smaller room, in the center was precursor portal. It's center was purple and swirly. "Go in and find him! But you will bring him to the nest, or I will personally add all of the dark eco back into you!" He shouted and threw her in.

To Haven City!

Kiani landed with a thud on the warm metal flooring. She grunted and got up, brushing the dust off her clothes. "This is the hunk of junk Jak lives in? It fits his trashy personality." Kiani smirked and walked forward, she was all fitted for this place. Wearing a brown t-shirt and baggy jeans, combat boots, and a gun holster around her waist plus one from her shoulder to her hip. As she walked people shot her nervous glances. Kiani walked up to a shop keeper, she had wondered into an old shopping district type area. "Excuse me, do you have any guns? Or clothes here?" She asked as politely as possible. The shopkeeper turned around. A Lurker. "Ah, hello! Me is Brutter, welcome to Brutter's Trinket Stand! No guns or clothes here. Jak and little orangey warrior just saved Lurker brothers! Me must help them. Goodbye!" The Lurker supposedly named Brutter turned and walked away. So, Jak and Daxter are here. Time to shine. Her thoughts hissed in a number of possibilities to get him to his knees. She smiled and walked away, bumping into the person in front of her. She looked up to see a guard in a red and grey uniform. "Watch it kid!" He shouted and walked next to her. "You better watch your tongue." She said. The guard turned around, his rifle outstretched and aimed at her. Kiani instinctively piled out her own. More of the guards came and circled her. "By order of the Krimzon Guard you are hereby under arrest for talking back to the authorities!" One of them shouted. Kiani began to laugh. "So you guys are the cops here? Oh man I can't wait to get playing!" She shouted and began to shoot, guards dropped dead around her. All around her. She had only killed four out of the fifteen that were there. Suddenly a whisk of blue and orange went by, she was picked up and was being carried away by someone. "Let me go!" She writhed in her captors grip before shooting the thing they where on. The floating board stopped within seconds and sent all of them tumbling to the ground. Kiani got up and spat some dirt out of her mouth. "I had it under control! I'm not some princess who needs to be saved!" She shouted at the people who helped her. Now she saw who they where. Her heart sank into the deep pit in her stomach. "You!" Kiani shouted and grabbed Jak's collar. She pulled him up and slammed him against the alley's wall. Pointing the barrel of her rifle on his thoat. "Kiani?" He sputtered. Kiani snarled. "Your alive!" Jak shouted. He sounded excited. Kiani however, was not amused. "You left me for dead! I would have been fine if you didn't let me fall!" Kiani shouted, her finger went to the trigger of the gun. "I tried to help but I couldn't reach you!" Jak shouted, his tone was worried with a mixture of happy and anger. Kiani laughed and pulled the gun away from him quickly. She pointed it down the alley and pulled the trigger. There was a thud as the body of a Krimzon Guard fell to the ground. "Why did you help me? I can take care of myself!" She hissed and put the gun in its holster. "All I saw was a girl surrounded by those demons!" Jak retorted. He walked towards Kiani and hugged her. He felt her tense up. "Kiani, I missed you. Ever since that day, I have just been thinking of what I could do to have saved you. Remember the locket you gave me when the wompbee nest fell on me?" Kiani's expression softened. "I've only not had it when I was taken by the KG. During that time Daxter had it." Jak pulled a long silver chain with a blue locket out of his tunic. Kiani stared in dismay. She grabbed the locket and opened it with a click. Inside was a picture of her family. Before her brother died. "I can't believe you kept it." She whispered, the words barely escaping her lips. "Where is Dax anyway?" Jak asked. He looked around the alleyway. Kiani closed the locket and looked to. I thought I saw him fly into a trash can." Jak mumbled. Kiani laughed, "that sounds so much like Daxter to be hanging out in the trash!" Jak smiled slightly and released Kiani. She walked over to a trash can and began to peer into it. "Found him!" Jak shouted, he was holding Daxter by the tail. Dax was out cold. "Care to let me show you the city?" Jak asked and turned on a nearby zoomer bike. He mounted it with Daxter in front of him. Kiani bowed sarcastically. "But of course!" She dramatically got onto the zoomer. They rode off into the air, flying just above the city.
