We had to have our "honeymoon" in the honeymoon suite inside the palace. Of course, the Prince couldn't travel anywhere, since he's the lone ruler of Alanderia. I smile as I remember that I now, too, rule alongside him. I'm Ethan's wife!

The reception had lasted until the last of the cake was gone, and trust me, that cake was huge. Ethan was getting anxious, I could tell. I stood by him the whole reception, and by the end, he was rocking back and forth on his heels. I leaned in closer to him so I could whisper in his ear.

"You ready to go?" He smiled at the ground then looked at me with some form of anticipation.

"You bet, baby," he says as I giggle. It always got me so excited when he called me "baby". All of the sudden he picks me up in his arms, and I yelp with the sudden movement. He smiles at me as I bury my head in his chest. He then turns to the crowd.

"If you'll excuse us, the missus and I," I giggle as he says "missus". "The missus and I shall be heading to our suite to have some personal time," he gets a mischievous smile. "If you all know what I mean." The crowd bursts into laughter and cheers. I wave goodbye as Ethan carries me up the spiral staircase. He leads me through as series of hallways, and suddenly we come upon the highest tower. The kicks open the door to reveal the biggest bedroom I've ever seen. Four huge widows give a view of the beach down below. The four-poster bed could easily fit four people at least. There's also a comfy couch in the corner, and a small hallway that looks like it leads to a bathroom.

"Woah," I can't help but say as he takes me into the room.

"You like it?" He smirks as he sets me down. I'm not sure how, but my dress somehow slid down a bit, and as I was about to fix it Ethan tells me, "Leave it," and I giggle once more. Ugh I sound so girly.

"So, did you want to...?" He asks. And I find it strange that he did ask. It is our honeymoon after all. But... I have to tell him something first. I'm very nervous, and what if he decides he doesn't like me afterwards... oh I shouldn't be so silly. We're married! Of course he'll still love me. I clear my throat.

"Um, Ethan..." I'm so nervous that my voice squeaks. Ugh!! "I have to tell you that... well um..."

"Yes, Arielle?" he cups my face in his hands. "You can tell me anything."

"Well, it's just that..." I can tell him anything, I can tell him anything, I can tell him anything... "This would be my first time," I say, then look up at him.

"Well um... ha.. well.." he looks flustered then he says, "Well.. mine too" then he looks at me with a smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. But! It'll be his first time too! I can't believe this, a guy as handsome as him? No way!

"Hey, it's okay though my uncle taught me what to do," he smirks. I giggle once more, and just because I want to show him how brave (or stupid) I am, I start to slide off my dress. Now, because of the cut of the dress, I didn't really wear a bra underneath. As the dress slides to the floor, Ethan eyes my chest, and that flicker of something in his eyes is back. He takes me and kisses me. Hard. He leads me to the bed, kissing me all the while. Once we got to the bed, he picks me up, twirls me around, then lands on top of me as we hit the soft bed. I work on getting his pants off while he kisses my neck.

"There's a condom... in my back pocket .." he breathes. I look at him skeptically. Wasn't the point of this to produce an Heir? He must've seen my look of skepticism, because the he says, "Well, I wanted to have more fun with you before you got pregnant." He gives me one of his handsome smirks, and I can't help but concede. I finally get his pants off, and realize that I wasn't the only one who went commando to the wedding. I slide on the protection, and he turns to look at me.

"This might hurt for a second, but I'll be sure to make it pleasureable for you as well. You ready?" I nod. I trust him. I was going to need to trust him for the rest on my life anyways, right?

     I was his wife.

"That was amazing," Ethan moans. Hey, it might've been my first time, but I read a lot of romance novels. And I mean a lot. I can't help but smile to myself, and I lean over to kiss his cheek.

Sunlight pools into the room. Morning already? Ethan didn't really want to sleep last night, and who was I to disagree? I may've been the new Queen, but he's the King. He knows best, does he not? There was a knock at the door, and I sat up, using the blanket to cover myself.

"Come in," Ethan sighs. Bruce, the butler, pops his head in.

"Sorry to interrupt, sir, but you have a sizeable amount of work to get to, you are a king now" Bruce says, matter-of-factly.

"He's right." Ethan sighs again. He kisses me tenderly on the lips before he leaves.

     "See you tonight, Arielle,"
