The repeating of the intercom over head was over powered by the noise. I could faintly hear the words telling us to leave in an orderly fashion and to stay calm, but it was anything but calm. Parents were crying on the loss of their child and people were running amok screaming and crying. Dogs were barking and the owners were beating them to at least get them to be quiet for one second. My brother was a few feet in front of me watching the chaos around us. Knowing that the same thing that's on my mind, was the same on his. It was happening.
Mother always told us about this, what's happening. I always imagined what it would be like and this isn't it. Hearing my brother give out a cry, I turned and ran towards him. Seeing my mother disappear in front of me, I fell to my knees and silently cried. I turned to comfort my brother, but he too was disappearing on me. I reached for his hand, only for it to fall through, much to my dismay. Rocking back and forth on my knees with tears kissing my cheeks, I wondered if I was to join them, or stay here on earth. I soon found out when I suddenly felt like I was being lifted up by an invisible object. Soft hands leading me through a bright light, blinding me. I heard it before I saw it, voices.
Children screaming with joy with their parents, grandparents. In the distance I heard my name being called. Blinking, I regained my eyesight and saw golden roads, big houses and my family happily waving me towards them, face splitting grins on their faces. I laughed slightly before sprinting over to them and grabbed them in a group bear hug. I looked at them and opened my mouth to speak, but someone else spoke with a booming voice telling us to go to the fountain. When we got to the center of heaven, there was a beautiful marble fountain. An angel with powerful wings behind him holding a pitcher, kneeling down and looking up with love in his eyes. The water was flowing out of the pitcher and the angles mouth. I turned around when I heard the voice again.
A gorgeous man was standing before me. Long dark brown hair and slight stubble against his jaw. He gazed at the people and talked in a silky yet booming voice. "Everybody! I wanted to personally welcome you. There is one thing I have to say, there are going to be two people I need. They are going to help earth. They are personally going to get rid of the damned and all the evil in the world. They are very special in a lot of ways. Havana, Ovon, will you please step forward." I stepped out glancing at my brother seeing how well he was taking it. "My children. My very special children. You are to rid the evil Lucifer has created and send them into the pits of hell itself. You will have trouble some, but you will make it. Good luck." Next thing I know is that I felt like I was being dragged back down. Down somewhere I never wanted to return to.
