According to plan, Deacalion and his agents mistake Derek for Salva and lead him to Deucalion's helicopter the night of the dance. However, after winning the Homecoming King title and dedicating it to Derek and told the entire student body that he loves him, Stiles discovers and ruins the plan by exposing himself to Deucalion, insisting that it is not Derek's fight. Fortunately, agents of the Prince Protection Program, including Mr. Hale, have been waiting inside the helicopter and rescue both guys. The agents quickly apprehend Deucalion and his henchmen and turn them over to the international authorities.
Salva is crowned King of Costa Beacon Hills with Derek & his dad, Issac, Stiles' mother and Mr. Finstock in attendance.
