Hi my name is Leah. I am in 7th grade. I am pretty sure all of you know me cause I am so smart and beautiful... who am I kidding! I have glasses and braces and my grades aren't that A+ jazz. I just moved here to Texas from a small city in California. It's really scary to be in a whole new state. I wonder what school I am going to
*Jump to 2 months later*
"Wake up honey or the chancla is coming", mom said. (If you don't know what a chancla is it is a sandal but a Mexican way of saying it) Ughh I don't want to go to my new school it is so fancy, big, and we have to wear uniforms."
Reluctantly I got dressed in my skirt with a polo and tie with my cardigan. Yeah I know that's not cool at all! My mom made me potato and egg tacos to go because we were running late.
Always count on the Diaz family (my family) to be late. My older brother Kyle is so handsome and what do I turn out to be! A girl with dark brown eyes and wavy brown hair. I got it from my dad. Where as my mom light brown straight hair with green eyes. Darn you mom and Kyle! Anyways he was making fun of my outfit the whole ride to school because he was showing to a public highschool when I was going to a charter school.
We finally got to the school and I waved and kissed my mom goodbye , punched my brother goodbye and off to school. Man is it going to be a rough year😔
