Hogwarts: The Untold Secret

Chapter 1: The expected letter

The fall has already started for two weeks now. The Potter Manor located in the Godric's Hollow is as beautiful as ever soaking in the dreamy sun light. The house is where the most well-known family in the wizard community live: the Potters. Now, working as a head Auror, the legendary Harry Potter is admire by everyone. He's nearly got everything that a man can ever wanted: a good, dream job, a pretty wife, 3 kids that always makes the house become happy. Afterall, we can say it's fair result for all the things he have done. Thanks to Harry Potter that now we all can say out loud the name of the most dangerous, evil wizard, Lord Voldemort. Born as a wizard, not even a child has never heard about the greatest, shockest, battle between Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort.
It's just a normal, hard-working day for the famous Harry Potter. As he returned home, the first thing he heard was his wife, Ginny, voice gently asked when she opened the door for him:
-You're home a bit late today, darling. Is there anything wrong?
In this point, Harry can be sure a thing that chosing Ginny to be his wife is a right choice. She is still beautiful as ever in Harry heart with soft red hair and sweet, graceful brown eyes. Those eyes are now looking at him worriedly. He simply answered while she is helping him to take off his coat:
- Nothing bad happen. I'm just a bit busy these days.
They both walking into the dining room, Ginny has stopped asking and just silently walking after Harry. She knew that her husband is very tired from work so she doesn't want to disturbing him by silly question. In many ways, they're a perfect couple.
- Welcome home my master- his loyal house-elf said politely

The kids running down the stairs. Seeing the kids, laughing at their silly jokes is the only thing Harry looking forward to after a long day. He loves his job, of course, it was his dream, but he had to admitted that it's not easy. There is James who is always makes people laughed by his hilarious sense of humor, there is Albus he always helping James with all kind of prank and there is Lily a smart and charming girl.
When everyone has taken there sit around the big circle table and food are served, Albus started attacking his father with all kind of question about the O.W.L exam. He was very nervous, he will started his fifth year at Hogwarts as well as Lily with her third year and James with his sixth year. He has been obsessed about it since last year and preparing for it in summer. Harry answered all the question with a bit excited. When he was at his age he wasn't taking it this serious. Their endless discussion will take forever if James don't interrupted:
- Listen Albus, just because you're my dearest brother so I believe you should know a thing
Albus immediately asked:
- What is it?
- If there's anything that gonna stop you from getting 11 is that you will be trapped in the hospital for talking about the shrinking potion in your sleep before the exam started.
Everybody laughed, Albus asked back:
- I did not
Lily said:
- Oh my god, Albus. I will be surprised if there is any bug can sleep in your room. If there is it must has died
Harry smiled. Albus continue to ask with blush on his cheek. Lily started to get bored as she said:
- Come on Al, everyone is getting tired of your 1001 quiz about the O.W.L radio show.
James secretly blink with his sister. But the conversation just stopped until Harry joke:
- Albus Severus Potter, I'm so proud of you. But swear to God, if you keep doing this you will lose you father.
The discussion finally stopped.
Harry is absolutely satisfied looking at his child. He proud of all of them. And thinking about the fact that they are going back to Hogwarts draw a big smile on his face. Hogwarts is his second home, is a dreamland, a house that always there for young wizard. He feel a bit jealous with the kids.
Dinner ends. The family gathered around in the living room. James told Albus the story of himself in the O.W.L exam:
- The very first test you will have is the Charm exam. Remember to sleep the night before, that's very important. Don't look Marchbanks in the eye, she will magically clean your mind, dude.
Albus curiously listened to every single word that James said although it's clearly ridiculous. Harry gently told his second son:
- You should know that your brother likes joking. Don't take it to serious, son. It's gonna be alright.
Suddenly a giant owl with fussy brown fur hit the window glass cause a big noise. Harry immediately turned around and open the window for the poor owl to come in. The Hogwarts's owl carried 4 envelopes, it's a bit dizzy after the crash. Right after when Ginny took off the 4 letters of its leg, it hurriedly flew away, disappeared into the dark.
Ginny slowly share out the letters to everyone:
- This is for you, James, and this is for you Al. Lily, here is yours, honey. And Harry this is for you, it's from Professor McGonagall.
The kids excitedly teared off the envelopes, parchment paper falling out from it. Lily silently read her letter. Nothing much actually. A piece tell her to go to the king cross station on 1st of September. Another piece is the list of textbook for the new school year. There are: Ancient Runes for beginners by Ancette Bellingham, she'll begin to study this course since the third year, Numerology and Grammatica for Arithmancy.
Lily was not alike her brothers, when James and Albus have interest in Care of magical creature and Muggle studies, she chose Study of Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. If Albus was a mini Harry then Lily was a mini Ginny and James is a perfect combination between them both.
- You all better go to bed early. Since you all know what you will need for the school year ,we will go to Diagon Alley tomorrow - Ginny reminded the kids
Harry slowly agreed to his wife, told his children:
- Your mother was right. Tomorrow we will go together.
They obediently return to their own room leaving the house an empty and silent air.
