They were really excited about the ball, but they wont get their hopes up because maybe it's another gossip or just made up.

They were all seated in the great hall when Mcgonaggal announced

"There will be a ball next week, we will be inviting Durmstrang to accompany us in this coming ball, You may choose your dates"

Harry high fived Ron and took Ginny's hand

Ron looked into Lavander's eyes and they both nodded and smiled

While Blaise held unto Draco's shoulders and shook it to show his excitement

Neville held unto Luna's hand to show that he'll be taking her

Draco winked at Hermione, and Hermione blushed and she tried to hide it by covering her face with a book

Blaise kissed Pansy on the cheek

"The ball will be held here in the great hall,and we will need the heads to help in decorating, The ball will only be for the 6th  and 7th year students"

Groans and yells were heard from the 5th year and below

"But don't worry for the students who won't be going because you will have a common room party"

Some were now happy but mostly some want to go to the ball

"I expect all of you to be in your best behavior, and I expect you all to be welcoming to out guest" said Mcgonaggal and she sat back down

The food appeared and they all started eating

"I'm sooooooo excited" squealed Ginny she was  bouncing in her chair

"Wait...wait..wait.. meaning shopping?!" Said Hermione horrified

"Duhhh?!"said Ginny smiling like an idiot

Hermione remembered what happened when the last time they were shopping

"Try this mione!" Said Ginny giving her 2 skirts, 4 heels, and 6 dresses

Hermione took all of them in the dressing room and tried them all

"Eh, I don't feel them, maybe lets try more?!" Said Ginny pulling Hermione to the other shelves of clothes

"So Harry, I was thinking that I'd be wearing red, you know, Gryffindor!" said Ginny smiling probably imagining her gown

"Thats a good choice Gin" said Harry understandingly

"I'm probably going for pink or lavander" said Lavander

"I guess I'll be wearing grey" said Hermione looking up from her book

"Is that reminding you of anyone in particular?" smirked Harry as he nudged his bestfriend in the arm

Ginny smirked as she got what Harry meant

"Guys where's Ron?" Asked Lavander

"I dont know, he was here earlier" said Hermione closing her book to look for him

"Oh! There he is" said Harry pointing at the Ravenclaw table

"What in Merlin's Beard is he doing there?"asked Ginny

They were staring at Ron who was grabbing 3 chicken wings from the Ravenclaw table

"Hey guys" smiled Ron and he happily sat back down and started to eat again

"What were you doing in the Ravenclaw table?" asked Harry looking at his bestfriend

"Oh, I just got some chicken wings" he said not even looking at Harry because he was in chicken paradise

"Erm.. Ron we have chicken wings here in tje Gryffindor table, why get there?" Asked Lavander

"I just wanted to know if the chicken wings tastes the same, you know so it would be fair" he said finaly looking up confused on the questions his friends and girlfriend asked

They all stared at Ron as if he grew 3 heads
Then they laughed

"Wh- Bloody He-Hell Ron" laughed Ginny

Hermione wiped her tears from her eyes

Harry who looked like he was about to fall from his chair clutched unto his stomach

Lavander who spat her water because she couldn't contain herself

"Me and Ginny were thinking that what we will wear to the ball will be simple but sexy, what do you think?" Asked Pansy

"I'm good with that" smirked Blaise

"As long as it suits you then why not" said Draco
