The alley was dark that evening. It was dark as the shadows beneeth his feet. Dark as the windows of the building abandoned and broken manny moons ago. Dark as his thoughts and his intentions.
Perhaps a better person would give himself the benefit of the doubt, but no. He knew he had no buissnes thinking such things. He knew what he was that night manny years ago. And nothing has changed since. He hated it. What he did, what he's about to do. But what he did also made him hate himself. And that deep seeted self loathing is something he lived of,feed on,bathed in,and like the blood of his victoms he was covered in it. It wasn't untill his vision started flickering red that he realised he felt it a bit too much. The streets were silent and empty, with no other guests than the wind to witnes him but in the dim light of the old, still standing lamps the broken glass was glinting dangerously. No. This is no place for him. The wind howled again, bringing with it wet leaves and the scent of rain. It was time to take cover. It would be unwise to stay hear on the streets at this hour. Late october nights weren't forgiving to those walking through them unless they were beyond its reach. Besides,he had somewhere to be. A piece of glass shattered beneeth his feet, the sound eccoing loud in the night. The wind howled again but this time the sky howled with it. Small, cold drops hit the ground tinting of the broken glass, forming a hounting melody. The wind howled once more, wet leafes sticking to the windows of the buildings. When the lighting struck over the sky one of the old buildings collapsed. When the wind passed by it once more it was as if it never was . The rain continued to fall, water poured through the cracks and soacked the stray alley cats that took cover and when it subsided, manny hours later, the man was no more.
