Part 3

Midnight's POV

I watched as Jason walked Sunset up to the house, Sunset faced Jason and wrapped her hands around his neck. Jason wrapped his hands around her waist. I looked away as they kissed and headed inside, I had already said bye to Tyler but it still hurt knowing I was going to disappear. I heard the door shut and saw Sunset who had tears running down her cheeks.

"I'm going to go pack my things..." I nodded as Sunset walked past me and to her room.

"Let me know if you need help, ok?" Sunset nodded and closed the door to her room.

I headed to my room and started to pack my clothes and photos. I picked up the photo that had Sunset's and mine mother, it was a sunny day at the beach. Sunset and I's birthday, even though Sunset and I have different hair color, we are twins. Our mother had someone take a picture of us together, her light blonde hair and purple eyes that where sparking. My father was in the background near the ocean with his friend. Sunset got her blonde hair from our mom, and her blue eyes from our father, I had gotten my unique hair from our father, but my eyes were both purple and blue mix. Our parents died the next day in a car crash, a drunk driver had hit them off the bridge... they drowned with their friends in the backseat of the car. Sunset and I both refused foster care and started to defend for ourselves, Sunset and I had to move around a lot because of the police that where trying to find the people who have been murdering people. I put the picture carefully in my suitcase wrapped in one of my shirts, so the frame wouldn't break.

"Hey Midnight," I looked up to see Sunset with her bag in her hand, "where are we moving to anyways?"

"I found this place a couple of states over from here, it should be safe."

"So are we ever going to come back to Utah once we leave?"

I could tell Sunset didn't want to leave... "I don't know Sunset..."

Sunset looked at her feet, "It doesn't matter... let's just have fun once we reach our new home, ok?"

I smiled, "Yeah!" I zipped up my suitcase, and headed to the kitchen.

I packed up some food for the road, I grabbed the car keys and carried the cooler and the suitcase out to the car. I started the car as Sunset put the weapons inside the secret pocket in the backseat. Sunset climbed into the passenger seat and I began to drive away towards Texas. It was far from Utah so hopefully the gang won't find us. I looked at Sunset and saw she was fast asleep with her headphones on, I plugged my phone into the radio and began to play my Nightcore play-lists. This is going to be a long drive...

*Later that evening*

I pulled over at a gas station to refill the car up, Sunset stirred and opened her eyes.

"Where are we?" Sunset asked as she stretched her sleepy limbs.

"Just outside of Texas." Sunset yawned and climbed out of the car.

"Do you want anything from inside?"

"Some soda, maybe candy?" Sunset nodded and headed inside while I waited for the car to fill up with gas.

I looked around enjoying the night sky, the cold air made it easy to breath. I looked at the car that pulled up to the station next to me. It was a black mustang, with red strips, a blonde man with tinted glasses got out with a little girl with silver hair and red eyes. She was wearing a red and black dress, she was holding the dudes hand as they headed inside. I heard the gas pump click, letting me know that the gas pump had finished filling up my car. I put the pump back and closed the small little door to the tank opening. I felt a pair of eyes on the back of head, I turned my head and saw a boy with reddish hair, with a gray beanie on his head. His golden eyes looking at me, I turned my head away and saw Sunset walk out of the store with two bags in her hand.

"This is your bag." Sunset handed me a bag which had two Root beer bottles, some Kit-Kat's and crunch's.

"Thanks Sunset."

I got in the car and started it back up. Sunset and I made small talk here and there, Sunset soon hopped in the backseat and fell asleep. The car soon started to make a weird noise so I pulled over into a motel parking lot. I turned off the car and hopped out, lifting up the hood. white smoke steamed out of the car, I mentally cursed to myself. I fanned the smoke away and got my tools out, the sun was coming out so I began to work on the car after fanning out the smoke.

"Midnight what are you doing?" I looked over and saw Sunset with a pair of clothes for her and me.

"The car broke down so I thought I would try to repair it." Sunset nodded and closed the hood. She handed me my clothes and we went and got changed.

I was now wearing short jean shorts, a black tink-top, and knee high black boots. Sunset was wearing a yellow dress that went down to her knees, with ankle high black combat boots. I headed back to the car and began to work on it, while Sunset went to go find a map of Texas. I was slowly starting to get angry at the car for breaking down at a time like this.

"Need some help?"

I looked up and saw the blonde dude, who had the mustang and the little girl with him,"Know how to fix a car?"

He looked at the engine, "I can fix it in about a hour."

"I don't have much money so I can't pay you if you fix it."

He smirked, "That's ok, I can do it for free."

I looked over at the sidewalk and saw Sunset walking towards me. "Finally your here." I walked up to Sunset who opened the backseat door.

"Geez, this town is easy to get lost in." I giggled and went back to the blonde dude who was fixing up the car still.

Sunset hopped in the backseat and began to read her book on her phone. I watched the dude as he fixed my car...

*One Hour Later*

"Thanks again Izumo."

"No problem," Izumo said, I learned that the blonde dude name was Izumo.

Once Izumo left Sunset and I were on the road again. We didn't speak much as we entered the new town we would have to call home. I pulled up to the house that I bought over the internet and turned the car off. Sunset and I hopped out and went inside the new house and chose our room, the basement was kinda like our old one, so we put all our knives and all that down there. I went inside my room and hopped on my bed, my body begging for sleep... I plugged in my phone and turned on my music. I slowly began to drift off into a dreamless sleep...
