"Honey, get up or you'll be late for school" yelled mom from the kitchen "be right there" I replied. I immediately hit the shower and mixed toothpaste and water and gagged it in my mouth. I put on some denim overalls a white T and black high tops and ran down to grab some waffles.

I arrived at school I rushed to my locker to hide my waffles when Aulia my BFF hid behind me watching as I ate "you need any syrup?" I jumped in fear spitting out the left over bits of waffle in my mouth "didn't mean to startle you" she said "just thought the waffles would go better with some syrup." "Very funny" I said "c'mon let's get to class"

I murmured "here are you scores" the teacher said as he handed the sheets to everyone I unfortunately got a C- and I guess I got distracted by this new guy who just moved here from Alaska his name is Precious and I think that's a girl name but I don't really care.
Not like he's my only distraction my classmate called Bukola i.e my first real crush has really been looking at me in that way these days 😉 not to talk about Esom the boy I adore from afar and Aulia is moving away soon and I have no where to turn.....my life is a wreck.
