Nandini's pov
Its midnight and just a few minutes before my birthday. I am having a birthday party with all my friends including Navya, Arya etc. It is almost 11.58 when I smell an amazing, addictive smell and i took a long sniff of the smell not getting enough of it. It was making me go all crazy but then Navya and Arya tell me to cut the cake when

I stood infront of the cake and blew the candle making a wish. I was about to cut my birthday cake but suddenly I jump hearing a loud growl saying
MINE!!!!!!!!
I instantly turn towards the direction where the sound came from and see Arya. Why is he shouting and growling I thought feeling really confused.
My thoughts broke when i felt a hand on my waist lifting me from the ground and spinning me. Just as i was about to scream the person finally puts me down and pulls me in a tight hug. I should be screaming and hitting this person who has suddenly lost his mind but I found myself enjoying the hug feeling peace and oh did i mention this person smells amazzzing like the smell I smelt few minutes ago. God Nandini act sane..break the hug..do it, do it. Instead I sniff again. I think i am losing my mind. Yeah, its official now.
The person tightens the hold and placed a kiss on my exposed shoulder and I visibly shivered.
Suddenly the person growled again almost giving me a heart attack "MINE !!! YOU ARE ONLY MINE. "
WHAT THE HELL !! WHAT IS THIS SUPPOSE TO MEAN.
Feeling irritated I look around and find everyone silent and frozen like a statue. Everyone is looking at us with wide eyes including Arya.
After like forever the person breaks the hugs and i look up at his face only to find Manik looking handsome and extremely attractive. There is a shine in his eyes and I find myself getting lost in those beautiful eyes.

Manik - Nandini you are mine forever. Say that you are mine .
Nandini - Manik what do you mean. How can I be yours, why are you acting so strange suddenly.

Before he could complete his sentence Navya pulled Nandini with her, telling Manik and others to wait.

Nan- Navya what is this. Why is Manik behaving so strange and calling me as his. And not to forget why does he smells so amazing all of a sudden.
