Fire And Ice

She is Fire and he is Ice.

Everyone thinks she is beautiful, but as soon as they get too close she burns them to protect herself. She has seen the way people use her as a weapon, to hurt others. She has learned her own power and has taken it back from those that take her for granted. She is Fire.

Everyone thinks he is beautiful, but no one realizes how fragile he is until they're crashing through his surface. The way he cracks when someone puts the slightest bit of pressure on him. He wants to be stronger to support himself but people will always find a way to walk over him. He is Ice.

She hates that she hurts people. But she can't help it. After years of being used then being put out as soon as they were done with her, she created a certain heat in attempt to keep them at a distance. They would always come back. She is Fire.

He hates that people hurt him. But he knows they can't help it. He gives them the illusion that he is stronger than he is, that he is able to support them in a way that he knows deep down that he can't. He doesn't want them to see that, so they always come back. He is Ice.

Fire and Ice contradict each other. They balance each other out. She wants to be like him, wants people to realize that she is fragile too. He wants to be like her, wants people to realize he has power too. She is fire, but she is cold inside. He is ice, but he has a fire inside of him. She hurts him because she wants to be like him. He melts for her because he admires her. But she is Fire and he is Ice.

They fight and push each other because they understand each other. People have used her. He wants to help her but she doesn't trust that he won't hurt her too. People walk over him and break him. She wants to be the one to mend him but she knows she will only burn him if she tries. So she will continue being Fire and he will continue being Ice.

They question their purpose. It is the only thing they've ever known. But as Fire and Ice come together they realize they are beautiful and people do want them.

She lights the way for those in the dark. She gives people warmth. She has always been there. She is Fire.

He can be strong and support people. He makes people happy. He is something unique that people are always fascinated by. He is Ice.

They may not always want to be what they are, but there is always something deeper than what is on the surface. She burns but she lights the way. He cracks but he can mend himself back together. She is Fire and he is Ice.
