I arrived at the train station after Winter Break. I said my goodbyes to my parents and got on the Hogwarts train. I found the Cart that Harry, Hermione and Ron were in and sat down.
"How was your guy's Christmas?!" Hermione randomly asked.
"Um. Good. Harry and Me got matching scarfs!" Ron pulled Harry into a side hug.
"oh cool. What about you Y/N?!"
"I uh...I got a new broom...Nimbus 2000..." I said keeping my eyes on the door. It was awkward between Harry and I. He never explained why he kissed me.
"Well I got new clothes! Which is awesome!" I smiled and kept staring at the door.
"What's going on?" Hermione finally noticed the awkwardness.
"nothings going on... " Harry said.
"Yeah nothing!" I got up and opened the door while slamming it shut. I walked down the isle of the train and ran into Draco.
"Hey Y/N" he smiled at me
"hey." I was still upset about Harry not explaining and then acting like it never happened.
"are you okay?" He asked while grabbing my shoulders.
"I'm fine. Just really confused."
"about what?"
I found an empty cart and went in it with him.
"3 things. first off, I get nightmares that people want me to fight some war but they have to wait until I'm 16. They keep killing me in every dream." I sighed
"you never told me about that... Y/N I'm so sorry"
"It's fine...i just can't get it out of my head."
"hmm...what's the next thing?"
"oh um. Harry Kissed me and never told me why. And now he's acting like it never happened. Nobody gives me any answers anymore!"
"oh... Well just ask I guess... "
"I have...About my dreams...i begged my parents to tell me anything about myself all winter break, they told me no and grounded me for 2 weeks."
"Hmm...Well I'm here for you" he hugged me, I hugged back.
"one last thing... "
"What?"
"Are you and Pansy doing okay?"
"Um...about that" Did they break up?!  Why am I happy about that? Ugh. Listen Y/N!
"We broke up right before winter break...it was mutual so no heart breaks...."
"oh... Still,  I'm sorry"
"Yeah... "

We got to Hogwarts and Exited the train. Draco and I walked to the common room together. Since we're second years, we didn't need a tour nor did we have to lead a tour around the school. I got to the common room and went upstairs to find out what room I was in and who I was with. I do not want Pansy again. I walked down the hall looking at all the names.

Daphne Greengrass
Atleast it's not Pansy. I walked into the room and my luggage was already by my bed. I had a bed right next to the window yay. A few minutes later a girl with blonde hair came in.
"Your Daphne right?" I asked as she shut the door.
"um yeah. Your Y/N?"
"mhmm." I started to unpack. She seemed nice.

I went down stairs of the common room and saw Draco laying on the couch.
"hey. " He said before I could even open my mouth to speak.
"hey you alright?"
"yeah just thinking about stuff."
"hmm...well it's almost time for dinner and for once I'm actually hungry so Get up!" I said while shaking him.
"Fine fine! Lets go." He got up and we headed to the dining hall. We sat down next to each other and waited for the first years to sort into there houses. It felt like forever until Dumbledore stood up.
"Let the feast begin!"
I actually got food and started eating. I looked up to see eyes on me.
"What?"
"your eating?!" Tracey Davis said from across the table.
"it's not a big deal guys...woah I'm eating, it's a miracle" they all went back to normal and I went back to eating.

After dinner I went back to the common room. I passed Hermione and Ron. They were so cute together but the didn't notice so it was even cuter.
I walked into the common room to see Draco and Crabbe wrestling in the middle of the floor. Draco of course won. Idiot. I went upstairs and quickly fell asleep.

We got all our schedules and books after breakfast. I sat down on the couch of the common room and red more Shakespeare. I remembered Draco saying it was pathetic and sickening causing me to quickly Slam it closed. I got lost in my thoughts.
"Hey...you wanna go for a ride?" Daphne asked.
"yeah sure. Why not" I set the book down on the table and walked outside with my broom. We set off. We flew over the huge lake and all the trees. I didn't know why but I loved flying. It was like the whole world could catch on fire but I'd still be alive. I don't know why I put it in that perspective but I do. I caught up to Daphne which was far ahead of me.
"wow your slow. "
"no I'm not. You are. "
"Well I'm going to be head catcher in Quidditch this year."
"we will see about that..." we raced each other.

I decided to go down to the lake after dinner. I sat there throwing rocks into the lake.
I saw someone sit down beside but didn't bother to look at who it was.
"Hey can we... um like talk about before winter break...?" It was Harry.
"I don't know, can we?"
"Oh come Y/N"
"Please, explain why you kissed me then!"
"I...I liked you, so I decided to wait to do something about it before winter break..."
"Harry where just friends...that's all I thought we were..."
"I get that now... "
"Is that the only reason..."
"what do you mean?"
"is that the only reason you kissed me...?"
"I... No"
"Tell me then... "
"you'll hate me"
"tell. Me. "
"I did it to make Draco mad. He obviously likes you and-"
"what did you just say...? "
"I said he obviously likes you?"
"No before that. You tried to make him mad!? Plus me and Draco are best friends! He likes me but not in that way!"
"Then why'd he tell me he did"....
