Blue Beetle x Reader

Chapter 1

"You know you shouldn't", I said irritated. "What shouldn't I do? Rob the bank?" I looked at my mother with a face of disappointment, "You know doing this is wrong." She sighed, "Look, (Y/n), I only want whats best for us." I rolled my eyes, "No, you only want whats best for yourself." She looked at her watch and shook her head, "(Y/n) I don't have time for this, I only have a slight period of time." She was about to open the car door when I put my hand on her, "Selina, there is always another way." She looked back at me, "Not for me." She reached into her purse and pulled out a cat like a mask and a whip. She put on the mask, exited the car and entered the bank

Chapter 1

 "In other news, the villain known as the Catwoman has robbed another bank in Gotham City. This would make it her 10th robbery just this week alone.", reported Cat Grant. Selina came up to me with two cups of coffee in her hands. She set the cups down at the table we were sitting at. "(Y/n)?" I didn't want to answer her, "(Y/n), I want to apologize for the way I acted this morning, it was wrong of me to snap at you like that." I looked at her, I knew she cared about me but I just wish she would give up this life of crime. "I just wish you could just stop doing the bad things that you do." She looked ashamed of her self, "I know... I know." Selina put her hand on my shoulder, "How's that thing on your back doing?" she asked, probably trying to change the topic. "It's fine." 

Selina and I spent a few more minutes at the coffee shop before deciding to leave. As we exited the building Selina's phone rang, "Sorry, I got to take this, I'll meet up with you at our apartment later." She kissed me on the head and walked away with her phone close to her ear. As I was walking back home I noticed the ground shaking a little bit. Suddenly I saw what looked like to be a blue man figure fly up into the air and land right beside me. I examined the blue man, whatever he was looked very familiar, too familiar. Before I could think of anything, something started walking towards me. It was a monster, but not just any monster, Clayface.

Clayface looked pretty pissed off, I assumed he and this blue man were fighting. At that point, I kinda knew that I would have to fight Clayface. I made sure there were no other people around. I closed my eyes, I could feel myself transforming. I opened my eyes and I saw that I was in my bug like armor. I looked at the blue guy right beside me. His armor looked a lot like mine except the fact that his was blue and mine was (F/c). Clayface charged at me, running as fast as he could. I activated my wings, flew behind him and started shooting my plasma cannon at him. I felt like I was actually doing some damage to him, that was until his big hand reached out and basically bitch slapped me to the ground.

I really wish I knew how to do more with this armor. I honestly thought that was the last of me, I really didn't want to go down this way. That was when the weirdest thing happened, Clayface started spazzing out of control. Probably because he was being electrocuted by a kid with lightning coming out of his hands. "Now!" he shouted. Just then, Clayface was being lifted up into the air and being smashed to the ground.

All I could think was, oh god... what have I gotten myself into.

So that was the end of chapter 1, I know I didn't really get into enough about Blue Beetle but I think this chapter was a good start. Sorry if it's not too good, this is my first fanfiction.
