Teddy sighed as he stared at the ceiling. He couldn't sleep. He had too much on his mind. Vic, food, how annoying his roommates snores were. Yeah, not a great way to fall asleep.

He sat up. Might as well do something that makes me tired. He stretched before making his way out the door and down the stairs into the kitchen.

He decided to make some tea, as it always helped him when he couldn't sleep. Maybe he was insomniac? That would make the most sense.

After struggling to make tea - which he managed to accomplish fairly well, in case you were wondering - he was sitting down behind the couch. Why behind the couch? He didn't know. Besides, if anyone did come down here, they wouldn't see him as the shadow of the couch would be hiding him. Good thing his hair wouldn't glow at this time. He then moved so he sat on the couch, Crissed Crossed Applesauce, holding his tea in his lap.

He hummed some songs to himself. Some of them were from muggle bands like Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Panic! At The Disco, Fall Out Boy or Twenty One Piløts, or some were from the Weird Sisters, a band in the wizarding world.

He stopped humming abruptly when he heard the bottom stair creak. Holy shit someone is down here. It was probably childish, but Teddy was kinda scared. His anxiety was creeping up on him.

Who is it? Do they know I'm down here? Do I even know them? Is this a burglar? Did someone break in? Did they hear me? Are they going to kill me?

He once calmed down once he recognized the soft silvery-blonde hair that could belong to the one and only, Victoire Weasley. He saw her sit down on the floor in front of him, and he decided he might as well talk with her.

"Wotcher, Vic." He greeted quietly, so he didn't wake up the others.

And then she jumped up, surprised and started fumbling for something. Wait - she grabbed the fire poker thingamajig! Oh shit, someone's gonna die tonight! And that someone was Teddy.

Teddy felt her jab the poker thing in his side and he whacked it away. He quickly turned on the lamp (with great difficulty of course. It wouldn't be Teddy Lupin if it was easy as pie). "Jesus fucking Christ, Vic! It's just me!" He shrieked.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!" She yelled in response. Then she quickly turned down the volume of her voice, "Are you okay?"

Teddy grinned at her. He couldn't frown forever. "I'm fine." He then quickly asked, "What are you doing up?"

"I was just about to ask you the same thing actually." She responded with a smirk.

"You first."

"Fine. I couldn't sleep." She mumbled.

"Me neither." Ted replied, before taking a sip of tea. Because, even though it sounded like it was badly made, it was still fucking delicious.

"Wanna talk?" He heard her ask.

"Sure." Teddy shrugged. He never really had an actual conversation with Vic yesterday, since everyone was so busy and all.

"So, Teddy."

"Hm?"

"What did you ask for Christmas?" She asked.

Teddy shrugged (again). "Honestly, I don't care what they get me. I just care that they get me something that obviously means alot if it was made, I don't want it to seem rushed. Christmas is about love and family, not presents." He coughed, realizing that sounded a bit out of character. "But, presents are hella awesome and you should give me all the presents you can afford."

"I agree. I didn't actually ask for anything really. Also, there isn't much I could afford, I'm broke." Vic laughed softly, probably trying not to wake the others up.
