Intro

Samara Harlow did not expect her life to change when she moved to Beacon Hills, California.

Perhaps that was her first mistake, being so naive regarding a town with such horrific travel blog reviews, but it certainly wasn't the worst one she made during her first week. That was definitely— wait, we should probably clarify why Sam moved in the first place. That's how these things go, right? Teenager moves to mysterious town, expects it not to be mysterious & what do you know? She's shocked to find that, holy shit, it is mysterious!

Beacon Hills is no exception, but of course, Samara's father deemed it the perfect place to move. It was far away from the freezing Canadian winters they knew all too well, and the cost of living was confusingly low. Hell, their two-story house didn't even ring in at six-figures, and it wasn't falling apart like their old one. How could they not move?

Who cares that the move triggers a disturbing recurring dream for Sam? Not her dad, that's for sure— the only thing he seems to care about anymore is guns, and hunting. But the weird kid in her biology class? He cares a little too much.

well, well, well, folks, get ready for my sarcastic ass to narrate this shit.. sarcastically? this is an actual fanfiction, despite the slightly strange description. i hope that doesn't deter anyone. i've had this title and cover in my drafts for 2 months now & a story idea finally hit me last week and y'all better fucking bet i was thoroughly shook.

i've never done a teen wolf fic with an oc that has their own original family unrelated to any preexisting characters, so i'm extremely excited to try this and i really hope it goes well. the story will be told in third person, and will centre around samara harlow but will also feature her younger brother jace because he's a freshman at the high school.

just a fair warning before we begin, this story will probably contain a few not so nice words, maybe some violence, possibly some sexual content and a lot of very bad life choices. also, by probably, maybe and possibly i mean definitely. let's get this shit started.
