**TRIGGER WARNING FOR THIS CHAPTER**
I took the bus home even though I knew I would get teased, but it was better than facing Nick, Ash, Alex, and Jay from walking. I put in my headphones in a single seat at the back, trying to ignore them the best I could. Nothing mattered right now. Nothing at all.
It wasn't long until I was at my stop. I rushed off the bus, nearly falling over someone's foot in the isle as I did.
They did that on purpose. There was no way they didn't.
I walked home, the heat scorching down on my sweater, feeling like it could kill me.
I was happy to see that my stepdad wasn't home. He was probably out at a bar or something stupid like he'd do.
You mean nothing to them.
They all hurt you because you are nothing.
No one even cares if you're here or not. You're useless and can never do a damn thing right.
I quickly ran upstairs to my room.
The box. Where is it? I need it. I fucking need it. Now.
I frantically searched everything I could hide something in. My closet. My dresser. My nightstand. But it was nowhere.
Doesn't matter, I thought. You have a spare for a reason. You know where it is.
My pillowcase. I always leave one spare there just in case the box were to ever get lost.
Sure enough it was there. A small sliver of metal, a small blade, capable of doing so much.
I quickly rushed to my bathroom, throwing my sweater to the floor, to hold the piece of metal between my thumb and index finger, and placing it on one of the only spots of flesh I could find on my arm before jerking it towards me.
It was always just one before I started. But then somehow it always changed to more. And I never had any idea why.

Danny is meeting someone in the next chapter though so stay tuned if you want, or just don't. Either is fine XD
I just wanna say the whole book idea rn but I can't and it's not even all planned yet. I'm just going with it.
