My love for a jerk

"You broke my vase!" screamed my mother as she slapped me and kicked me in the stomach. everything started to black out a bit. "Aria!!!!!" my mother screamed again i now had a loud ringing in my ear. "Ari-" she was cut off by my dad grabbing her arm and pulling her away.

"Aria, baby, are you okay?" my dad tried to act like he was the most loving dad in the world when the paramedics were helping me and when the police arrived to arrest my mom. then i passed out.

"How old is she?"

"15"

"Parents?"

"Moms in jail and dads in the waiting room" my moms in jail yippie! my moms in jail! my moms in jail! my moms in jail. my. moms. in. jail. my. dads. here. no no no no no

"What happened?" i was being asked by a doctor

"Huh?"i was processing correctly then i realized what he was talking about. "Oh, my mom was beating me because i broke her vase. i didnt mean to. i really i didnt mean to im sorry.... i.... im sorry...." i was now crying

"Oh sweetheart dont cry." i heard a familiar voice and i looked up to see my dad. i screamed scared to death and i wanted him away i wanted him out. i wanted him gone. dead. out of my life. i dont care i just dont want him here or near me. ever. in my WHOLE life. The doctors took him away and that led to more questions.

"Why are you so afraid of your dad? Has your dad ever hit you? Does your dad drink?" i had to think long and hard because i was scared my dad would hit me if i told the truth.

"Umm..... well......" my dads voice kept running through my head... 'I dont hit you! i dont yell at you! i dont hit you! i dont yell at you! i dont hit y-' my thoughts were cut off

"Ms. Parks? what are you thinking about?"

"My dad hits me! my dad drinks! he does drugs! hes abusive and he killed my twin brother and my little sister when he was drunk!" i couldnt take it. i broke down crying i screamed at the doctor i was having emotional issues then the door slammed open.

"Valerie!!!!!!" my dad came over and grabbed me. he started hitting me. the cops soon came and took him away.

"Ms..." I looked up to see a young maybe 25 year old blonde hair blue eyed girl. "Ms... im Dr. Rujan's wife. i normally dont do this kind of stuff because im a dentist but.. i can relate to what your going through...." her words were sweet and kind and soft and slow.... i liked her.... she was different than everything i grew up with. "okay ms. Parks.... I have a few questions for you."

"Okay" i started to sit up but the doctors wife (whose name i still dont know) gently pushed me back down then started her questions.... i blacked out before i could hear anything she said.

Btw this is based off a true story with my best friend Annabelle... Shes 20 now and is my older sister. </3 our mother and father are still in jail. And our brother died in a car accident.
