The childhood "Friend"

VI: Ouch

It was only been two of months ago before school started and now they are halfway through the first semester of high school. It was now October and everybody at school seems to be pumped about halloween, well everybody except Edd. Edd was walking in the hall and heard everybody talking about halloween and he headed toward his locker and opened it and put away his textbooks that weren't need for his homework and he finished he saw some players from the football team and they pushed him against his locker and continued walking and laughing that the same time and yelled out "sorry". Edd rolled his eyes and whispered "neanderthals" . Edd got up and picked up his textbook and closed his locker and headed to the exist of the school. Edd took a deep breath and began walking home hoping that the football players were somewhere else. But as Edd was walking towards his house he saw football players and the red headed neighbor with them and he signed and continues walking. The football players blocked his way to get home and one of them spoked, his name was Dave.
~ Dave is 5"10, he's part of the Jc football teams and he hates Edd for being smart with him and he hates anyone who is in his way. He has brown eyes and he had blonde hair~
"Where you going fag"
Edd looked at the tall jock and sighed
"If you don't mind i am walking home to continue with my studies"
"What fag? Don't play smart with me"
"Wait, I'm not playing smart with you"
The football players all surrounded behind Dave and gave Edd and death glare about his speaking. Edd felt uncomfortable their but then the football players all surrounded Edd and looks at Dave then to Edd and then began to punch him and kick him. Edd positioned himself to cover his head and took the kicks and punches. It took them 5 minutes of punches and kicks before they left him there and the red head saw it all.
Kevin's P.O.V
Kevin saw as his teammates punched and kicked his favorite dork and he couldn't do anything but just watch. Kevin saw his teammates leave him there, Kevin wanted to pick up Edd and carry him to his house but he couldn't ruin his reputation so he didn't he told his teammates that he was heading home. And his teammates groaned in frustration and fisted bumped him and went along their way and Kevin headed home and he went straight to his room and sat on his bed and he began to tear up to the thought of his crush was laying on the ground in pain.
Edd's P.O.V
Edd groaned in pain and looked around to see he was alone. Edd with all his force got up and grabbed his book and he began limping himself to his house and when he reach the street of the cul-de-sac he saw his house and walked their quickly trying to avoid everybody. Edd made it inside his house without anyone seeing him and he made his way to the couch to sit down and relax from the pain. Edd began to tear up and groaned from the pain on his body. He got up and made his way upstairs to the bathroom and he undressed himself and he took a shower to rinse off the dried blood and he groaned and winced to the pain of water running through his body and he finished a couple minutes after and he dried himself completely and he looks himself in the mirror and saw the bruises and he bang to cry and he wiped his tears and he headed towards his rooms and got dressed and began on his homework.
Kevin's P.O.V
Kevin got up and saw out his window waiting to see Edd walk up to his house and hope that he was ok. Couple of minutes passed and he saw the beanie nerd limping to his house very quickly and he entered. Kevin sighed and laid back down on his bed and he got his phone out and called Nazz and told her to come to his house to help him. Nazz came as quickly as possible after getting the call, Nazz was at the front door knocking and Kevin came rushing downstairs and opened the door and brought her into his room. She looked at him with a confused stare. Kevin sat down on his bed and Nazz sat down on his bed.
"What's the emergency Kevin"
Kevin explained everything that happened to Edd. Kevin included how he couldn't do anything about it.
"Woah man that's harsh for double d"
"I know and I don't know what to do"
"Have you tried apologizing"
"No"
"Then that's what you can do"
"But I can't talk to him and you know that"
"Fine look Kevin's here a deal, I'll invite double d to the halloween party next week and then you can apologize there"
Kevin looked at Nazz with a happy expression and he hugged Nazz and thanking her. Nazz patted his back and smiled.
"Your welcome Kevin"
Kevin looked at her and smiled and he looked prepared to apologize to Edd.
"I can do this"
Nazz left a couple of minutes later and Kevin looked at his bag and groaned about the plan and how he was prepared for it but he forgot about it when he took out his homework. It took him a while to finish his homework but he finished. When He finished he headed towards his bed and began to undress himself and fell flat on his bed in his boxers and fell asleep.
