Train Ride

I was pushing my cart down the platform 9 3/4 along the side of Hogwarts express. I got on the train and desperately searched for an empty compartment. When I got to the end of the train there was one nealy empty, but there was one problem. Draco Malfoy was sitting in it.
I hesitantly opened the door "May I sit here?" I asked quietly.
Draco snaped his head up "Huh..? Oh, yes. Of couse" he said in a plesant voice.

I was sitting in my compartment looking through a window when a girl with the same look in her eyes as I came in "May I sit here?" I was surprised at how gentle her voice was, noone ever spoke to me like that, not even my mother. "Huh..? Oh, yes. Of course" I answered as plesantly as I could.
She seemed surprised but still sat.

I was so surprised by his plesant voice that I sat quietly. "So.. Um.. How was your break?" I asked shyly. Draco seemed surprised that I would speak to him.
"It was okay, I guess. How was yours?" He finaly said, "Oh, I am Draco, by the way."
"I am Ravena." I said "I guess you could say my break was fine". I hesitaded to say any more, thinking me might mock me later if he found out how my break realy went.
I took my wand and changed the clothes on me into my Slytherin robes.

We were having a plesant conversation, but I could see she was still nervous. She changed into her robes with a flick of a wand. "You're a Slytherin as well?" I asked having never seen her before. She blushed a bit and I couldn't help but smile. I found it adorable.

"You're a Slytherin as well?" Draco asked. I blushed looking down and he smiled at me. Merlins beard! He had such a lovely smile.
"Yeah." I finally answered him blushing even more.
"Maybe we'll hang out then." He said still smiling.
"Yeah. Maybe." I replied. "Wizard chess?" I asked him lastly.

We played wizard chess until the train arrived to Hogsmeade station. I packed the board fast and left the train. Draco was walking with Pansy and Blaise. I decided not to interupt and went to the thestral carriages by myself.

I saw Ravena go to the thestrals and enter an empty carriage. I didn't want to pressure friendship on her. "Blaise, Pancy we're going" I said rushing to the carriages.
"I saw Ravena's carriage lift up and float next to ours. I sat by the window so I could see her face. She was reading a book with a tiny frown on her face and a fire in her eyes. She was so concentrated it seemed that if the world was crushing down she wouldn't notice. Suddenly I felt the need to have her look at ME that way, but I knew it probably wasn't possible.
