IT'S THE END OF THE CLASS and you immediately shoved all your books and belongings to your bag, stashing the remaining that couldn't fit to your locker, before zooming quickly to your university's—Hojun University—park to look for your silver-haired best friend.

You arrived at the park shortly after going downstairs twice and past the cafetaria, eager to find him. He was sitting on the usual bench you guys would sit, thick pages of script in his hand, studying it carefully. It was only when you called his name that he broke out of his reading.

"Zen! My classes are finished, so what is it that you want to talk about?" you sat beside the handsome male, looking to his eyes cheerfully.

Hyun Ryu— or what he prefers everyone to call him Zen— abruptly looked up to meet your gaze, his focus not longer on the script he was reading. He grinned widely at you.

"Ah, glad to see that your classes are ending pretty quickly these days. I just want to show you this!" Zen scooted closer to you, showing you a page from the school newspaper that he kept beside him.

"Our school's doing a play? How entertaining! I'm surprised, really," you chuckled, your eyes scanning the newspaper quickly.

"Yeah, and I'm ecstatic! It's not just a play, it's a musical! I asked Ms. Choi for the script yesterday and I've been familiarizing myself with the character and his lines.— I would really like to play the lead."

You gasped, your mouth turning into a shape of an 'O', excited for your best friend. "Wow, that's great! I'll be rooting for you! But... what musical is our school putting on?"

"Ahah," Zen chuckled in reply. "It's kind of a classical and tragic love story, and I bet you know this— it's Romeo and Juliet. Does it ring a bell?"

"Of course! You always forget that I'm a literature major," you swatted his shoulders playfully. "I like Shakespeare, Zen. So I'm assuming you're up for Romeo then."

"You admire Shakespeare and his works... so how about joining this play?" Zen gave a small smile, looking at you brightly.

"What are you suggesting, mister?" you rose your eyebrows, already taking the very subtle hint the male had been giving.

Zen chuckled, then muttered, "You see (Y/n), I'm hoping that you could take the audition for Juliet, if that's okay."

You giggled, then put on a serious face. "I'd love to, Zen. It sounds fun but you know I'm not that good at acting like you are. You're experienced and therefore you're fit to be the lead! But me, uh, I'm afraid I will only embarass myself if I audition," you explained, making him frown. Oh how you wanted to erase that frown off his handsome fa—what?

"Relax, we can practice together, (Y/N)! Please, pretty please? I really want to do this play with you," he pleaded, releasi g his adorable puppy eyes which he knows you can't ever resist. Way to play fair, Zen.

You admitted a sigh of defeat, already regretting the moment you nodded your head. So you tried reasoning with him. "But what if your female fans get jealous because I'm auditioning for Juliet? You wouldn't want your amazing, beautiful girl friend to get hate, don't you?"

You remember that Zen was super popular in your highschool. He's super handsome, charismatic, and a sweetheart at that. Almost half of the girls on school are his fans, and everywhere both of you go will always be accompanied by screams of fangirls.
