"Thorne you are not flying the Rampion! End of discussion!" Jacin yells.

"Why not? She's my ship! Not yours Jacin!"

"I'm not letting a guy who can't take off a ship smoothly let alone land a ship smoothly flying this thing while we have an emotionally unstable girl!"

"Jacin!" Winter scolds.

"What?" He says with a shrug of his shoulders. He nods his head towards Cinder. "We both know she's not okay and I don't want to do anything that could make it worse. So Thorne please let me fly this ship." Jacin pleads. With a roll of his eyes Thorne agrees and goes to sit with Cress on a crate. Jacin sits in the pilot seat and hesitates before lifting off. "Umm....does anyone know where we're going?"

Cress slowly shakes her head while focusing on the portscreen. "No. Whatever Adri did to hide her location is working. I can't find her anywhere." Cinder takes in a sharp breath. She knew Adri wouldn't be easy to find. She knew it would take forever to find her. Yet she had hoped that Adri wouldn't be so hard to find. She hoped that Kai and her would be together without any more dangers coming her way. She had hoped.

Hope. Cinder shakes her head at the thought. She, of all people, had hoped. She should have known better. Hope is a coward's tool. The netscreen came on, pulling Cinder away from her agony. There was a reporter, right outside New Beijing Palace. Cinder turned on the audio and watched silently.

"Emperor Kaito was taken merely 6 hours ago. Empress Selene has left Konn Torin in charge of the Commonwealth as she goes and finds the emperor. We don't know anything about the ship that the emperor is currently on but we do know that all ships landing anywhere on the Earthen Union will be searched, in hopes of finding Emperor Kaito and arrest Linh Adri and her accomplice."

"At least we know that Earth is taken measures to find him," Scarlet says hesitantly. Cinder glares at her. "They can't avoid being searched."

"Yes they can! If they land in a remote location that no one will be guarding and then by the time the government learns about a ship landing there, they will already be gone. And then there is the fact that they made there ship untraceable! Even Cress can't locate them! If Cress can't find them what hopes do the government have!" Cinder snaps. Scarlet flinches and Cinder lowers her head. "I'm sorry Scar...It's just..." Before anyone can pity her, Cinder gets up and runs to her room; slamming the door.

She slides down the door and begins to sob. Everyone's in danger because of her. Kai was taken more than once from her because of who she is. When Levana forced Kai into the marriage and he betrayed her, Cinder had thought that was the worst of it. She destroyed her enemy. She hadn't expected to make enemies along the way that would take Kai from her again. "Would it be better if she just ended it with Kai?" she thought. "No! I can't let Adri win!"

There was a gentle knock on her door and then Winter peeked her head inside. "Hey Cinder?" She said cautiously.

"Hi"

Winter entered the room. "Look I know things are great and you feel betrayed and hurt but I promise, we're going to figure this out and we're going to find Kai. This isn't the first time this happened, remember. We made it through last time, we can do it again this time."

"The fact that there was a last time proves how dangerous I am!" Cinder snaps.

Winter looks not phased by Cinder's words and continues. "You and Kai have a love that I've never seen before. You risk your lives for each other. Isn't that worth fighting for?"

Cinder pondered on that for a bit. Yes, she and Kai understood each other on a different level. The moment she met him at the marketplace, she knew that he was special. She knew how much he had impacted her with his jokes and his sarcasm. There was no one out there like him. Yes it was worth fighting for. She wasn't going to lose him. Not now, not ever. She wasn't going to hide and be angry anymore. She was going to fight and she planned on winning.
