One groggy morning Amelia Thomas woke up to the sound of her rabbit hopping around in the cage. She feeds it and gets up putting on her uniform.
"Time to head to the Coffee Shop Hugo. I'll see you later." She says to her rabbit and walks into the bathroom. She braids her long raven colored hair into two braids. She brushes her teeth and puts some makeup on.
Running into living room she slips on her white sneakers and runs out the door.
She walks into the Coffee Shop and clocks in.
This is how her day is every day after her breakup.
She was in love with a man named Neil Timons. They were together for 5 years till she walked into they're shared home and found him naked on top of they're cleaning lady. She lost everything.
She walked to the cash register and sees a new face. He had a handsome face with brown hair and eyes. He had a slight tan but not a very pronounced one. He looked over at her and smiled. She smiled back.
This wasn't anything strange. People give her pity smiles all the time. The story of her and Neil was everywhere. How she left and he stayed and married the cleaning lady.
The man walks up to the counter "Hello how may I help you today?" I ask with a straight face. "I will take just a black coffee" he says smiling. I put it in the computer "is that all?" I ask. "That is all."
"What is your name?" I ask. He looked slightly confused. "To put on your cup." He smiles and nods "ah I see. My named is Alex." He says. She writes it down and make his coffee. "Here ya go Alex that will be 2.50" she says as he puts down the money and sits at a booth across the cafe.
"He's cute isn't he?" She turns her head to Kelly, the other worker. "I guess." She says quietly. "You guess? Honey look at him and he was SO checking you out." She continues. "I'm not into dating." She say quietly again.
"Fine" Kelly rolls her eyes and walks over to Alex. Amelia pays no attention to her as she takes another order.
After her shift Amelia gets home and lays down on the couch and watches a season of supernatural.
