Chapter 18

Eren's mom had called Eren to go home so he left, leaving only me waiting for Rin. I was contacting his parents.
Rin's parents: Hello? Who is this?
Mikasa: This is Rin's friend.
Rin's parents: Ok then what did you want to tell us
Mikasa: I just wanted to inform you that Rin is in the hospital do to a gunshot.
Rin's parents: Oh, don't worry he's a grown boy, he can take care of himself.
Mikasa: Are you seriously telling me that he isn't important.
Rin's parents: I'm sorry sweety but we're sorta in a meeting. So can we call you back later?
Mikasa: Now you're saying that a stupid meeting is more important that your own son?
Rin's parents: This meeting isn't stupid and you shouldn't talk to an adult like that.

Then they ended the call. "Mikasa, Mikasa Ackerman." A nurse called
"I'm right here." I said
"You may now come in to see Rin Okumura."
"Ok thank you." I said entering Rin's room.
"Would you like me to leave you two alone?" Asked the nurse.
"Yes please." I said

She left the room leaving only me and Rin in the room. I looked at his sleeping body. I started to cry softly "This is all my fault." I said quietly to myself. I held his hand, still crying softly. "I'm so sorry." I whispered in his ear. I kissed his forehead. I turned around to go back to the waiting room. As I turned around I felt something grab my hand.

I turned around and saw Rin gently smiling like smiling hurt him, his eyes were slightly open. I went to him and hugged him hard. "I-I can't breathe."
"Oh sorry"
"I'm happy to see you're excited to see me."
"I'm so sorry." I said sobbing while still hugging him softly.
"Why, it wasn't your fault."
"Yes it was, if I hadn't leaned in and kissed you then Levi wouldn't have shot you."
"Well it was my first kiss, and I'm happy I had it with you." I blushed slightly.
"Why are you so nice to me, Rinmura?"
"Well maybe because..."
"Because what?"
"Can you listen to what I have to say?"
"Oh course."
"I-I-I-"
"You what?" He smiled.
"I...love you."He said.
"You love me as in...love love?"
"Yes Mika what other type of love is there."
"Well the sibiling love, the friend love, the motherly love, the-"he chuckled
"Mika I love you as in the relationship love." He said as he picked up my chin up to meet his eyes. His eyes were beautiful. He still held my chin bringing me in closer. I leaned in as our lips met. It was exactly like our first kiss but this kiss was shorter.

We were still kissing but after one minute his parents came in and gasped. We parted our lips and looked up at Rin's parents standing in the doorway.
"Who are you?"asked Rin's dad.
"I'm Mikasa Ackerman." I responded. Rin's dad had light brown short hair and blue eyes. His mom had light green eyes and black long hair. They were both wearing proffesional business outfits. "I thought you had said you were my son's friend not in a relationship with him."
"Sorry, I-I'm not in a relationship with him." My cheeks red.
"But I would like you to be." Said Rin. I turned around and saw Rin was gently smiling."Mikasa ever since the day I met you, I fell in love with you, I hope you will accept my feelings but if you can't you don't have to. Mika will you be my girlfriend?"
I couldn't think straight all I could do was lean in to him as our lips met. We pulled away and saw his parents mouths were open. "I take that as a yes." I nodded happily.

His parents had left some hours later. The nurse told me I could stay. She had also told me that Rin could return to school tommorow but with a cast since he was shot in his left arm. I nodded. The nurse then left the room.

"Here, you could lay down with me on the bed."said Rin. I smiled at him and layed down next to him. We were both hugging eachother tightly hoping to never let go of eachother. Hoping that we could make a future together.
