"Well this is it Lou! Say goodbye to Doncaster...for good!". Johannah gazed around the now empty house, remembering all the memories from when they first moved in, to this very moment in time.
"Yep...for good" Louis spoke in a quiet voice, unsure of what his new house, his new area and his new school was going to be like.
"Right, come on let's go!"
They both headed outside, locking the house for the final time. Everything had already been pack and put into the boot of the car. This was finally it!
----
The drive there was quite long, and other than singing along to a few songs on the radio, the ride to their new home was rather quiet. Johannah was clearly more excited than Louis was. She didn't have to worry about making new friends though.
Their new home was larger than their other one, still cosy on the inside though. There was a living room, a kitchen, a dining room and a small toilet on the ground floor. Much like most homes have. On the first floor, there were three bedrooms, one for his mum, one for him, and a spare one just in case. Louis had an en suite to save him from sharing a bathroom with his mum, much to his delight. And the king sized bed was nothing to complain about either.
His first night in his new room was one of the best he'd had for a while, despite being confused as to where he was when he occasionally woke up, only to remember and then fall asleep again.

*Louis' POV*
First day of my new school...oh the joys!
As happy as I am for my mum to have a better job, something that I know she will enjoy more, I can't help but wish that we were still back in Doncaster. Oh well. There's no going back now!
"Louis? Are you awake?" I hear my mum question yet again, despite me already telling her that I was.
"Yes mum, I'm still awake!"
"Good! It's your first day at your new school! You don't want to be late."
Thanks for reminding me!
I steadily got ready for my first day, still unsure of what it was going to be like. What the teachers would be like, the students, the lessons, what the school in general would be like. I'll admit I am kind of looking forward to starting fresh, maybe people at this new school won't be as judgemental, or maybe they are more judgemental...I guess there is only one way to find out.
I got my mum to give me a lift to school as it was at least a 20 minute walk and I only had 10 minutes before I had to be there. I arrived at the school, the car park full of cars (student's probably) and the loud noises of people inside who probably hadn't seen each other throughout the holidays. I finally forced myself in through the doors, and there were many people pushing past me, talking loudly, and just generally socialising.
Having a strong feeling that someone was watching me wasn't making me feel any better. I thought I was going mad, why would anyone be looking at me anyways? But as I turned my head to look slightly more to my left, I caught a pair of emerald green eyes watching my every move. The eyes belonged to a boy, maybe slightly younger than me, but definitely taller. He wore black...all black! A black leather jacket, black skinny jeans, a plain black tee, black boots and even a black headband that fitted perfectly into his chocolate brown curls.
I focused my attention away from him, hoping that he didn't catch me staring. Who am I kidding, he's staring at me! Of course he caught me staring!
As a walked away from where he stood, leaning against the lockers, I felt him still watching me, carefully examining my every move.
"Hi there, how may I help you?" The lady at reception asked as I stepped up to the counter. She was rather old, maybe around 60, small, grey hair scraped back into a bun. Her voice was light and soft, rather calming if anything.
"Um...hi...I'm Louis Tomlinson, the new student, I was wondering if I could collect my timetable please" I said, slightly nervous as I spoke.
"Of course you can sweetie. Here's a copy of your timetable and a map of the school so you can find your way around, it's easy once you're used to it" she spoke while smiling. And with that, I went to my first lesson which was...English! Not bad. I like English.
When I opened the door, the class was noisy, a clear sign that these people hadn't seen each other for weeks. I approached the desk that belonged to my teacher, Mrs Clarke. She was quite young, with straight long blonde hair kept to one side.
"Ah, you must be Louis, we've been waiting for you. If you'd like to take a seat, which ever one I don't really mind." Short and simple I guess.
"Okay, thanks." My eyes scanned the room looking for any available seats, there were a few, one by the window where I knew I'd be distracted by the wildlife outside, one in the far corner that looked too out of the way for me, and another one that wasn't too far from the back, maybe not as close to the front as I wished it to be but it was the only one left.
As I headed over to the seat, my eyes quickly snapped up, catching a glimpse of the chocolate curls once again, green eyes meeting blue, blue meeting green.
