    It was a foggy, humid Tuesday morning. I hated days like this. I didn't know whether to wear a jacket or not, and not to mention, my hair gets frizzy in .2 seconds. Awful.

  I pulled on my clothes, did my basic makeup, then pulled my hair into a messy pony tail. I shake my head gently, going upstairs and making myself some coffee. I look down at my phone, 6:00 AM in big letters popped up. I shake my head gently, making myself an easy breakfast. As I sat at my kitchen table, I stared out the window, my mind blank.

  A sudden buzz snapped me from my day dream. I look over, seeing a message on my phone from Franklin.

F, 6:01 AM: 'Let's chill after you get home. Get some drinks?'

I, 6:03 AM: 'Alrighttt drinks sound good (: I don't get off until 1. That OK?'

F, 6:06 AM: 'Yup. See u later.'

  I grin gently, rinsing out my dish before pulling on my sneakers. I jog out to my Jeep, pulling out of my driveway.

{Time skip}

  I pull into my garage, groaning quietly. Work was annoying. I didn't even work long shifts, and I was still exhausted. I walk inside, remembering I was supposed to hang out with Frank soon. I grin, giggling quietly to myself. I hope he wears that cologne. Wait, woah. Stop, brain. That's creepy.

 As I pulled my hair into a half down, half bun, I got a text from Franklin

As I pulled my hair into a half down, half bun, I got a text from Franklin.

  'I'm outside. Hope I'm not too early?'

  I grin, shaking my head to myself as I snatch my phone and jog outside, shutting my door behind me. I climb into his white Buffalo, smiling sweetly. The scent of weed and cologne mixed together a beautiful concoction and wafted itself into my nose. I look over, seeing him eye me up and down. "What?" I ask, snapping the seat belt into the clicker. "Nothin'. Jus' never had a beautiful girl in my car before." he chuckles, turning onto the road and speeding off.

  "That's a lie." I grin, looking out of the window. He only chuckles quietly, resting his hand on my thigh lightly. "We should go to The Hen House. I know it's a far drive, but It'll be worth it." I giggle, nodding. "I'm hungry. They have good food." I say, pouting gently. He glances over, raising an eyebrow slightly. "'Aight. Bet." he nods, turning onto the highway.

  It was a long quiet drive, but not an awkward quiet. It was nice. I watched the scenery slowly change, from buildings on every street to mountains and deer. I feel him squeeze my thigh gently and I look over, seeing a small smile tugging at his lips. "What?" I ask, furrowing my eyebrows. He shakes his head, stopping at a light. I take the moment to turn on the radio, jumping slightly at how loud it was. "Jeeeeeeezz.." I whisper, holding my chest gently. He only laughs, turning it down for me.

  Once we were inside, I held his arm gently, glancing over. He was searching for his credit card. I walk to the bar with him, sitting down and ordering some whiskey. "You're like an old man." he chuckles, making me slap his arm lightly. "Says the one who's almost thirty!" I giggle, sipping the beverage handed to me.

  After a long night of drinking and talking, my attention turns to the door once it suddenly busts open. "Everyone on the ground, now!" A loud hoarse voice echos through the room. I frown, obeying quietly. I glance over, Franklin doing the same. I eye the pistol in his pocket, then look up to the men. They started ransacking the place, taking money. They grabbed Franklin, holding his hands behind his back as one talked to him. Within the blink of an eye, both were on the ground, blood seeping through a hole in them. My eyes widen suddenly and I look at the pistol in my hand, then to Franklin, who looks slightly amused. "Come on." he grabs my arm, pulling me out quickly.

  Once we get in his car, I heard the sirens. "Shit, Indya, I ain't know you was like that!" He laughs, speeding off. "There's a gun under the seat. Feel free to use it." he nods, turning quick corners. I grab it, rolling down the window. I take a deep breath, leaning out and firing off countless bullets, taking out about three cop cars in two minutes. "Damn baby!" I hear Franklin laugh, shock in his voice. After a few more, I tuck myself back in the car, breathing heavily. "Oh god." I giggle, looking over at him.

  As we pulled into his garage, I climbed out of his car, looking at the damage. I frown gently, running my finger over a bullet hole. "I'll get it fixed tomorrow." he shrugged, grabbing my waist. "That shit was fun as hell." he nods, leading me inside. I agree, a soft smile on my face. I sit with him on the couch, sighing heavily. He turned on a movie, which I didn't mind. I had quietly hoped he would let me stay, since I had the next day off. I rest my head on his shoulder, yawning. I close my eyes gently, slowly falling into a light slumber. I felt his hands in my hair, then a blanket being put over me.
