We Are The Saviors ~ Negan

Part 5

I woke up in Negan's arms, both of us on the floor. I want to stay here with Negan for as long as I can but I'm sure Negan will wake up soon. I can see light seeping in through the window. I enjoy the feeling of his arm across my stomach. It made me feel more secure. Almost as if the world hadn't turned to shit.
Thinking about last night, I think I'm in love with Negan. That pleasant dream. He said he loved me. And I felt that I loved him. But then the nightmare. Both dreams showcased what I believe are the two sides of Negan. One side I never want to see and another side I always want to see.
"Negan?" I whisper. "Are you awake?"
No real answer. Just a groan.
Great. I think I just woke him up. Negan rolled over, his back facing mine. I suddenly felt cold as Negan was no longer connected to me. Maybe it was my turn. I rolled over and put my right arm on Negan's left shoulder and I used my left arm as a pillow for Negan. He was still asleep. I could lay like this forever.
After about 20 minutes, Negan shifted and sat up. He looked over at me
"Good morning darlin."
I blushed "Good morning Negan."
"Thank you Kat"
"For what?" I smirked
"For letting me have the best sleep of my life" Negan said. I giggled. He's too sweet
"Well I should probably get dressed. Take care of some Shit. You can explore the place if you want. If anyone asks, tell em you got my permission to go anywhere. Have fun." With that he was out the door. Guess I should get up too. I put on some ripped jeans and a white tank top and went out the door. I guess I should try to get to know everyone. After all I only know two people here (Negan and Simon). First I went to the cafeteria. I saw a brown haired girl wearing a black dress who caught my eye. She was eating a bowl of oatmeal by herself. She looked lonely. I walked over to her table and sat down. She looked up at me and didn't say anything
"Hello" I started
"Hi"
"Soooo what's your name?"
"Sherry. Who's asking?"
"Katherine. Kat for short."
"I've heard about you. You're Negan's newest addition" I guess word spreads fast here
"Yeah. I guess. So uh... what's there to do for fun here?"
"Work. Wander. Not too much. There's no such thing as 'fun' anymore." Jeez what a downer
"Hey. Maybe we could have some fun. A girls day? I've been looking for someone to just chill with."
"You Negan's wife yet?" Wife? That's random.
"Ummm no. What do you mean yet?"
Was he gonna marry me?
"The girls here have the choice to either marry Negan or work for points. He hasn't asked you yet has he?"
"No. Are you Negan's wife?"
"Unfortunately. There are 6 of us. We thought for sure you'd be number 7. I mean have you looked in the mirror recently? You don't need a girls day to look nice. You're already the prettiest girl here"
I was blushing uncontrollably. It's been so long since I heard something truly nice.
"Thank you but I think you're gonna have to look who's talking. You are super hot!"
Sherry's expression automatically switched and she stopped eating.
"What's wrong?" I ask sympathetically
"Nothing it's just... that's what Negan said to me when he first saw me. You have no idea what you're getting into with him, just be careful okay and don't fall for him! No matter what, he is cold and heartless and I don't want to see another girl broken."
Sherry got up and walked away, up to Hallway 3. What did she mean? That feeling of dread came back. Something's wrong. For sure. I just don't know what. She was acting like Negan killed someone or something terrible like that. Why is he so nice to me if apparently everyone is either scared of him or in hopeless love with him?
Was my love for him hopeless? I'm going to talk to Negan tonight. I gotta talk to him.

Some action! Definitely more action next part! I can't update until Tuesday (August 1st) because I'm going camping so more time for suspense! Haha im evil. Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this part
