~ Chelsea's POV ~
I woke up to the doorbell ringing like a gazillion times. I groaned and got up and walked downstairs not caring how my hair was. I opened the door and saw Sarah."It's 9 in the morning. What do you want?" I asked.
"Love you, too. I came over to ask you if you wanted to go to the beach." She said.
"Okay, let me just wake up and get changed." I said.
"I'll just be down here." She said and walked in and shut the door. I walked upstairs and into my room. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and I washed my face. I brushed my hair and left it down and walked to my dresser and looked through my drawer for bathing suits. I grabbed my purple one and changed into it. I grabbed my beach towel and bag and put it in my bag along along with sunscreen. I put my wallet under the towel and I grabbed my phone and house keys and I put my flip flops on. I should probably put on some shorts. I put on a pair of some blue jean short shorts and I walked downstairs. Sarah saw me and got up and we walked out to her car.
"Who all are we meeting up with?" I asked.
"Tyler and one of his single friends." She said. I stopped before getting in.
"I'm not into meeting anyone." I said.
"Oh, come on. It'll be fun." She said.
"Fine." I said and got in. She smiled and started the car and drove off. I sat back and yawned. "Why so early?" I asked.
"Better time to tan." She said. I groaned and leaned back. We pulled up to the beach and she parked. We got out and saw Tyler and some guy standing next to his car and we walked over. "Hey, babe." She said and pecked his lips.
"Hey, beautiful. Hey, Chels." He said. "Chelsea, this is my friend Kyle. Kyle, this is Chelsea." He said introducing us. I just waved not really wanting to be here. "Well, let's go." He said. We all started to walk on the sand. Tyler and Sarah were off in front of us.
"You seem like you don't want to be here." Kyle said.
"I don't want to be." I said.
"Is it because of me?" He asked.
"No, no. Of course not. I'm just insanely tired." I said.
"Are you sure it's not because of me?" He asked.
"I'm sure, Kyle." I said. We caught up with them and we put our stuff on the ground and I stepped out of my shorts and put them in my bag. I put my phone under my towel in my bag and went to the water. I just stood at the shoreline and stared out at the water.
"Want company?" I heard Kyle ask.
"Not really." I said. He just walked away. A minute later Sarah was next to me.
"Why are you being a bitch to Kyle?" She asked.
"I'm not trying to be a bitch to him. I told you I didn't want to do this. I'm sure Kyle is a great guy, but I have my eye on someone else." I said.
"That guy you met the other night?" She asked. I nodded. "He's just gonna hurt you." She said.
"And Kyle won't?" I asked. She sighed. "Thanks for trying to set me up, S. But I can get a guy on my own." I said.
"Sure you can." She said. I rolled my eyes and walked to my bag and I put my shorts on and I grabbed my bag and I went to the boardwalk. I walked to one of the stores and grabbed a tie dye shirt in my size and I walked to the cashier. They rung it up and I paid for it. I walked out of the store with the bag and I pulled the shirt out and took the tag off and I put the shirt on and I tossed the bag out. I ran a hand through my hair and started walking along the boardwalk. My phone dinged. I grabbed my phone out of the bag and saw Jake texted me.
