~Maui's POV~
I stared down at the weak human curiously as they slept soundly on a pile of feathers, 'How did they get so badly injured?' The question never left my mind as I observed her body, -not pervertedly- deep cuts and black bruises were covering most of her body. 'How could this even happen?' I asked in my head as I gently touched a bruise on her left forearm, she frowned and whimpered in her sleep as I did so. I jumped back at the horrible sound, wide eyes I watched as she stirred slowly opening her beautiful E/C eyes that seemed to shine as bright as the stars itself. Her rubbed her eyes tiredly and winces slightly at her cuts rubbing against each other, "Ugh... where am I?" She asked in slight pain turning slowly only to make eye contact with me, her E/C eyes widened in fear as her heart rate quickened, frozen in place. "Don't freak out! Everything is okay..!" I slowly approach her with my arm out towards her shaking form. She flinches away from my arm at first as I gently wrap her weak body in a tender embrace, slowly she calms down and starts hugging me back. I softly rocked her in my arms calming her even more, "Who are you?" I asked quietly, she sighed gently as she got out of the warm hug leaving us both cold. "M-my name is Y/N from Matsuneue -I have no idea how to spell it- ..." Her breathing quickened but not very much as her E/C eyes were wide in fear and embarrassment. I sighed as I recognized that islands name, "Let me guess.. Moana sent you?" I asked with a quirked brow, as her eyes lit up at the name. "Yeah!" She slapped her mouth shut at her sudden out burst. 'She's cute!' I stared down at my living tattoo of myself, "Be quiet you-" I was cut off by feeling a soft hand on my chest where my tattoo is, "H-how can it move..?" She asked quietly to herself as she gently rubbed the top of his head, he laughed happily and gently kissed her hand. She stared at the tattoo shocked at its actions and how it was moving. I laughed silently, "The gods gave me this tattoo version of myself to show how I truly feel and what actually happened instead of what I wish." I say with a somewhat forced smile. She looked up at me with wide E/C eyes, "... What's your n-name...?"
