There is rumour of a land, due East of Adarlan, called Prythian. Here there is a break between humans and fae, a wall. It is split into different courts, the Solar Courts and the Seasonal Courts. War looms in this area, and many who go do not return.
I read in the book, intrigue becoming part of my very soul. I looked up at Rowan who was sitting across the table from me and grinned. He glared at me softly,
"What is it this time?" He said, "The last time you made that face we were almost massacred by a witch." It was true, but I didn't care. We were going to this Prythian place, I had some things to sort out about their little 'wall' thing. I threw him the book and he caught it instinctually.
"Page 142." I said to him, and he read it, his gaze finally stopping on the last sentence. He looked up at me, one eyebrow raised,
"Another war?!" He practically shouted. "We are barely out of our own war, and all you want to do is run back into a different one?" I nodded in affirmation and he sighed, "You know hat if you go I have to go as well." I grinned even more and he just rolled his eyes.
