Today marked one week after my coronation.

Today is also the day that I will have my welcome home ball.

Today also is the day that the welcome back parade is celebrated which is what I am preparing for.

The girls already did my hair with was styled in big curls and fell gracefully on my back.

I got dressed in a white long sleeve blouse, black and white strip short skirt, beige and white suede heels.

They gave me my matching beige jacket and ushered me out the door.

My parents were waiting at the castle's door.

"Where is Daniel?" I asked.

"Lucas you mean. He is already at the parade. He will not be driving with us," my father said.

I nodded.

"Something is missing," my mom mused.

"Ah," she exclaimed when my mother handed her a box with Genovia's coat of arms on it.

She opened it and took out my tiara and placed it upon my head.

"There. Much better," mom smiled.

I smiled and mother said,

"Let's go."

The guard opened the door to the limousine and my biological parents got in then I followed.

My mother and my Ladies Royal went in the vehicle behind us.

The parade was set to begin on Cherry Lane then down Movie Avenue along Firecracker Road and finally around Rose Petal roundabout and end in Genovia's famous flower garden where I am suppose to address the crowd about how I will go about making Genovia a better country.

"Your carriage awaits Your Highness," the guard said as he opened my door and helped me out.

"Thank you," I smiled.

He saluted me and then went and helped my parents.

"The parade will be lead by the Prime Minister followed by the band then you followed by your parents and then the Ladies Royal and then everyone else," a voice said from behind me.

"Not to be rude but who are you?" I asked kindly.

"I am Archer Wills your personal bodyguard miss," he smiled.

"Nice to meet you," I replied and stretched my hand for a hand shake.

"The pleasure is all mine," he smiled and shook my hand before his face became serious again.

I nodded and turned back around.

The trumpet sounded and the parade began.

"Ooo look mommy it's the Princess," a girl said and began jumping and frantically waving at me.

I smiled and waved back.

From the corner of my vision I noticed some senior citizens and kids who were trying to get a better vision but people were blocking them which I believe to be rude.

Let the people see for heaven sake. One day that could be you!

"Stop the carriage Archer," I said quickly.

"The Princess says to stop," he said hopping off the carriage.

Everything ceased and all eyes turned to me.

Archer helped me out of the carriage as I began walking to the people.

"Shut up Grace and go to your room this instant. You too Carrie," the woman snapped at a little girl.
