In Between Hi and Bye

Leaving home was not easy,
The sight of their wave makes me teary,
Saying goodbye was not fun,
Looking where i am now makes me run

I was keeping in touch for the first weeks,
But somehow the connection was weak.
Seeing them without me and still happy,
It makes me sad and down because I'm greedy.

My surroundings are new just like my shoes,
Hopefully my heart wont break into twos.
Dreaming of the future where I'm with everyone,
Cause I've been sick and tired without anyone.

Stepping in a strange unknown direction,
Quite uneasy with my imperfections,
For I am no acceptable attraction,
Wishing it wont lead me to destruction.

I walked to the door in a throb,
Hoping for someone to pull me back,
Whispered while turning the door knob,
"Please don't fight me, cause no one's got my back."
