The Games Over

Chapter 13

Shawns P.O.V.

I wake up and bailey isn't in bed. I walk out to the living room and see her cooking breakfast. "Well good morning sleepy head" she says she comes over and kisses my cheek. "Morning" I say with a smile. "What are you making on this fine morning" I say walking over and putting my hands around her waist.

"Um eggs, and maybe bacon." She says laughing. "Maybe bacon aye" I say chuckling. I look at the time and it's already 10:30. I eat and I get dressed. "Hey I gotta go, what time should I pick you up tonight?" I ask her. "What about around 7?" She says unsure. "That's perfect." I say. I give her a quick kiss on the forehead and leave. God she's going to love tonight.

Bailey p.o.v.

I finish the dishes and watch some Netflix. I don't have to work today and plus Jordyn is going to keep Michael overnight again. Just to be safe.

I realized I must of fallen asleep because I woke up to my phone ringing. It's 5:30. I look who it is and it's Shawn. "Hey, I was just making sure you're still free for our date?" I can hear the excitement in his voice. "Uh yeah I'm just about to get ready." I say. "Okay good, I'll see you soon" he says and then a click.

I sit there for a few minutes waking up before I start to get ready. I'm almost done when I look at the time 6:40. I finish getting ready and look at myself before I hear a knock on my door. I walk over an open it.

Shawns p.o.v.

Bailey opens the door and my mouth drops. "You're wow." I say. I lost my words because i never found anyone as perfect as her. "Ready?" She asks. "Ready" I say with a smile. I walk her to her side and ope the door for her. I honestly take a little time getting to my side because I'm nervous. After a few years she can still make me nervous. I get in the car and I start to drive. She's looking out the window and I take her hand and kiss it. "I hope you enjoy tonight" I say with a smile. She looks over "I never seen you smile so big Shawn." She says chuckling.

I sigh. "Well sometimes you don't know what you have until it's gone" I say. She smiles but she looks away so I can't see it. I start to drive over to the shoulder of the road and put the car in park. I get out and slightly jog over to her side and open the door for her. "Shawn?" She asked confused. I grab a blind fold and put it over her eyes.

I lead her to a spot where I set up our date. "Okay you can take the blind fold off" I say. I stand behind her as she take its off. "S-Shawn this is.." she trails off. I set up a blanket with candles and some food, over looking a lake. I found it when I ended up running out of gas. We go over and sit down. We sit and talk for a couple of hours. "So this is our date?" She says laughing. "Well I guess. I have a few surprises for you." I say smiling. I run to the car and grab a box.
